If you don't mind, when I do teach my children about different stereotypes and derogatory terms, I will change the definition just a bit. 
Although that particular word hasn't come up in any classes recently.
But one of my favorite types of bread is a dark bread called squaw bread.. I might not ever be able to eat that again.. eww.
