Another Sunday morning, another thread by Storm

Happy Sunday morning.

I'm drinking nice, black coffee and watching Monsters Inc for the 100th time with the boy.

The weather is gloomy.

I've gotta clean major parts of the house today. I might just strategically plant germs in various areas, I'm not sure yet.

And AJ is here ;)

How y'all doin?

Die

I agree fully.

I am downing my first cup of java.

The kidlings just let all their helium birthday balloons go out side and are speculating as to where they have landed.

*warm mommy smile*

Hmm maybe I can convince them to do the housework?

Not!

Good morning Storm!

We had the most amazing sunset, a wonderful end to Indian Summer... The sky, aided by a deck of lensticular altocumulus at about 9,000 feet turned the sky a violent, firey, pink in the East even as it glowed a nuclear kind of Orange in the West. We had the Chiminea fired up and Irish wiskey to celebrate the night.

Starfishie should have been there to paint it...

Yes, I forgot to add, we began our Indian summer this weekend.

The furnace isn't kicking on.
The sun is shining brightly and actually bringing warmth.

I think I really need to move to warmer climes! Winter is on it's way.

Sounds nice. I haven't heard the term "lensticular altocumulus" in many years. So few people can type clouds.

Starfishie paints? ;)

What's weird is that our place on Grand Lake has already had a hard freeze, down to about 19, while here, we've had one light frost and down to about 34 out of the wind...

Yeah, it's been in the 50's here the past few days - but it's raining now. I worked outside all day yesterday. The air was so nice. Moved about a cord of wood up to the house. It was fun. The boy was actually stacking them with me. I'll try to get him to help me clean today, sans chemicals of course.

having my first cup as well...went out of town this week end friday and saturday and had a blast! it was nice enjoying indian summer weekend!:D

That reminds me, I've got to shut off the outside water and blow out the lines. Thanks.

Coffee. Newspaper.

Interesting article on 'Nam. Front page, too.

Need another cup for the eyes to finish opening.

May be able to open the windows for a couple of hours this afternoon, so I can finish closing the storm windows.

That's drugs, not germs. Germs give you a good buzz when you smoke 'em.

One room, the guest bathroom, is now completely clean. To my standards, at least. ;) I even took the throw rug out to the garage and treated it to 120# of air pressure to remove the dust that would even make an OCD proud.

I am attempting to wake up...Gods I wish I drank coffee...but I have showered and gotten dressed and Im hopping in the car and heading down to CT. It looks like a good day for a drive.

I don't really know what induced me to get up at this ungodly hour of the morning...I fell over pretty early last night so that is part of it...that and the collection of doves on the back fence cooing so damned loud. The muscle in my left arm continues to jump and I am beginning to wonder if I have a pinched nerve or something. But, its a beautiful bright cold day here, there is snow on the mountain and I can see it from my kitchen window. I had no real plan for today except sleeping but it seems that I will not be able to do that so I suppose that I will just have to find something else. Painting maybe.

 I heart you ;)

I'm having a taffy apple for breakfast. It's good to be a grown up.
