It was about the wall the elites and academics built between themselves and the people.

The shame should be on them for pulling all the stops and still managing to lose and election that was impossible to lose...

Agreed... the standard we have become used to is republicans being the lying drama queens.
I think many assumed the democrats would be sane in opposition.
But that's silly... we are talking about american politics here, which is always at its scrappiest during transition.
