Been a good week. Got rid of George "Maccaca" Allen and now this bum.

The emails themselves are quiet tame and could be innocent. Evidently there are instant messenger conversations that have more obvious intent and language. One assumes, given the resignation, that someone's got copies of them; I think the radio source I heard discussing it claimed that ABC has some specifics being readied. He also seemed to imply that there might have been instant messenger issues with more than one young staffer. Given that the source was Sean Hannity, I can't imagine he's trying to blow anything out of proportion.

I am glad he resigned, especially since he was a crusader for the cause.

But let's note some things he did not do.

He did not smear his accusers.

He did not pull a Cynthia McKinney.

He did not wait for a conviction ala William Jefferson.

He did not try to stay in the race to keep the seat, ala this Menedez clown who will most likely be pulled at the last minute ala Torricelli and Lautenberg so that that seat can be saved for the Democrats. Lastly, the celebatory tone here from Democrats having picked up a seat speaks volumes.

Also, the coming forward at this time smells like the attack on George Allen and the leaking of wire taps in the Pirro race, an obvious felony, reminding one of the Bush DUI charges and how Democrats prefer to pick up seats, with attacks, not ideas.

Does it bother anyone that Webb used to take a gun into town to scare niggers (That comes from a reliable source and why he tarred every single Virginian as having used the word at least once in their lifetime.) and that the people who claimed Allen used that word are recanting when pressed?

Another Allen charge, that of stuffing a deer's head into a black family's mailbox has been denied by local Law Enforcment and the local NAACP.

I heard him today; he is not a racist and helped at least one black judge to be the first ever in his position as one of his first acts as a Senator, while Webb didn;t give up taunting blacks until he got his ass caught and kicked. Serves him right!

Not to mention, he was a Republican until asked to run by the Democrats...

Must have gotten a recommendation from Senator Byrd another guy who used the n-word and got a pass.
