Bahrain goes to the Polls today in Municipal Elections. The first stage of a democratisation process.

And what's more 10% of the candidates are women...

So much for the argument that Israel is supported because its the only democratic nation in the region.

And in the meantime Bush is continuing his shift away from Israel and towards the Arab cause.

Maybe the boy will do good after all. Nothing like being shown by one of your allies that you're irrelevent to make you see things in a different light.
