Okay, I am about done with computers.... This is a giant rant, so please ignore if you are about done with me.
Not only does Hewlit "Pack it in my ass ard" not have a 1-800 number, but we went through the last minutes on our calling card to find out that a paritail restore isn't an option, because it only saved back as far as 9:30 pm on Saturday. This major malfunction, that has been going on for months and is only getting worse, is not repairable by any other means than a system restore, and all of my shit on the hard drive is not done being edited...... meaning that when I burn it on CD (if I can even get this 2k piece of shit to do that) it'll become a 'read only' file, to which I can't save changes to, and I'll have to go through hell and high water to get things back to the way they should be.
I have a personal photo database (including my herbarium project that I have to do to graduate) that is huge, and not all of them are in thier proper folders because I upload everything into temp files to edit them, before I put them in a permenant file.
I cannot acess anything through..... My Documents or any other means, other than opening my photo editor, which I can only edit them, not move them where they should be. I am going to rip my fucking hair out. As if shit isn't bad enough. I need to get a labotomy.
The amount of time I will waste trying to get this accomplished is equivilant to a 7day trip to Florida and back.
School starts on Monday, and I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess what I am going to do is.....
Edit all of them where they are
Clean house and get rid of unwanted crap
Burn to CD
Restore
Pray that the files don't mysteriously go from 33.4k to 88k in a single instant, like they've been doing in my computer lately.
Put them back on the computer, and move them into the right files.
Sound right? If so great, but I am still pissed off.
I'm gonna get a little high.
