Two afternoons in a row that I'm off... (its the calm before the storm, gameday weekend coming and all).

So, whose got some more things I can read? I've been enjoying it, and in my frustration with not enough people reading my stuff and voting on it I think I should the hypocrisy of not looking at other peoples'.

I'm not too good about feedback, though. I don't know anything about writing.

I love erotic horror. I know it can be a bit of an aquired taste, but there are some really good stories in that category.

Don't read the poems either (link also in sig) they are just full of menace and outrageous emotions.

I like the poems, were they supposed to be spoken, though? Sounds like they'd hear better than read, y'know?

That's one of the great classic questions about poetry. Many poets insist that all poems are meant to be heard - hence the focus on meter and rhyme. Then every now and the e. e. cummings chimes in

Thanks for reading through my things. I didn't write those poems specifically to read aloud. Poems, for better or worse, just seem to come to me. But, I've heard them read by other people and they seem to sound better than they read. My bad midwestern accent keeps me from reading aloud, so it was never me doing the readings, mind you.

I read what you have so far (?) of your "I Am Superman".

It was actually outstanding.... I love your conversational voice in the piece. I love the strange, despicableness of the characters. It's easy and fascinating to read--it's sexy in a strange and matter-of-factly anti-social way, and on top of it all, it made me laugh. Really excellent, compelling stuff, even while it's being implausibly repellent at the same time. Definitely not the kind of thing you normally read around here.

I'd be very curious to see more if you continue the series...
