Another One.........

That's why I hardly do it anymore.

I have two shows that run for an hour each, if I miss them I get pissed, but besides that it isn't worth the hassle.

Turn it off and talk instead, or read a book, or better still come here :)

Sorry.
I was being too vague.
This was actually a rare serious thread.
I just turned on the TV.
Another day, another school shooting.......

:(

That is exactly why I wait til I leave the house to turn it on....so I don't have to see it......as if that helps.

Another one??? Wow we haven't heard about this one over here yet.

Where about's and is everyone okay or have more innocent people been killed?

My son starts school next month, and I can tell you now I am dreading it, it used to be safe to send your kids to school, what happened?

Thought's of the families are with me.

EL CAJON, Calif., March 22 — At least eight people were injured Thursday when gunfire erupted at a San Diego-area high school but none of the injuries appeared life threatening, officials said. The shooting occurred just four miles south of Santee, Calif., the scene of the most recent school shooting. An 18-year-old suspect who was shot by police was in custody.

A SPOKESWOMAN for Sharpe Hospital said ambulances brought the alleged suspect and an injured student to the hospital. She said the alleged shooter arrived with his arms handcuffed behind his back. She said he was shot in the buttocks and face and was being taken to surgery but was in fair condition. She said the injured student, 16, was wounded in the chest by buckshot and was in good condition.

Officials said not all the injuries were from gunfire, some instead from flying debris. Other students were taken to hospitals after complaining of chest pains or shortness of breath.
Witnesses told KFMB-TV that a suspect, armed with a rifle and handgun, was wrestled to the ground by police. Officers denied early reports they were searching for a second suspect. Students said that the suspect was a former student.
The shooting at Granite Hills High School was reported at 12:54 p.m.
“It sounded like an explosion, like in a chemistry class or something,” sophomore Ryan Carrillo told KGTV-San Diego.

He said he heard gunshots as he walked to a bathroom near the office of the school, which has 2,900 students.
After hearing two shots and then five more, Carrillo said he fled to a nearby park where weeping students gathered to hug and talk. Parents ran about, frantically searching for their children.
The school — 17 miles east of San Diego — was first placed on lockdown, then students were evacuated to a nearby middle school.

SANTEE SHOOTING
Granite High School is part of the same school district as Santana High School, where a school shooting three weeks ago killed two students and injured 13.
NBC’s Chip Reid reported that ironically, the two schools had a baseball game scheduled later Thursday.
On March 5, student Charles “Andy” Williams walked into Santana High School in nearby Santee, and allegedly shot and killed two male students before he was captured by sheriff’s deputies. Williams is being charged as an adult with the shootings, which sparked a rash of related violence at schools from California to Pennsylvania. His arraignment is due March 26.
El Cajon and Santee are closely linked communities. At least one volunteer who counseled Santana students also keeps an office in El Cajon.

This is a breaking story and will be updated with developments.
