Just because you have such a jaded view of most of mankind, it doesn't mean that most people except you and a few select others are worthless, dumb and a complete waste of space.

Most people, the VAST MAJORITY of people, are good people, who do "think" (in the way you meant it) and do care and love and everything else. We, us, as individuals, are not "the awful thing that is mankind". We're just people, trying to live our lives and do the best with our lives, and try to do the best by others and the world around us in the process.

Bad, evil, thoughtless people are in the minority. Don't let the few ruin your regard for the many.

The USA is not the world. Besides which, what I said also applies to most people in the US. They have two choices at election time (well, more than that, but just two real choices when it comes to voting for a president). They can't help it if those in power can't sort their shit out.
