man this is getting old. I have actually liked two movies in the past month enough to post about them here.

I just finished watching a movie acalled "The Snow Walker" starring Barry Pepper and Annabella Paugattuk. It's supposed to be a true story about a bush pilot in Alaska being befirended and helped by an Inuit Girl when he crashes his plane. Wether it's a true story or not I don't know but the movie is certainly worth watching if for nothing else than the cinematography.

I saw it last year. Outstanding story and good production. I almost cried when Kanaalaq took her final walk. Good flick.

“The Snow Walker” was based upon the short story “Walk Well My Brother” by Farley Mowat.

The director of “The Snow Walker,” Charles Martin Smith, has previously starred in the 1983 movie based upon Mowat’s semi-autobiographical story of his work for the Canadian Wildlife Service, in “Never Cry Wolf.”
