I'm loving it. I only wish I hadn't seen the movie first, because it's ruining the suspense for me.

and i'm glad you like it! but i can totally see how that could ruin things....very odd thing happened when i read it. people kept telling me i should watch the movie and i said i didn't want to because i thought it would be too violent for me. so i read the book first so i would know what i was getting into when i watched the movie. i'm really glad i read the book first. since then my taste in books and movies has changed quite a bit and i'm much more open to try new thing. aaaaaaaand i'm completely obsessed with Chuck Palahniuk.

I always like to read the book first, I've even then decided not to then go and see a film if the book has so filled my head so well, but I guess that could be a mistake.

i think it's more like a "if you're awake, come post" kind of thing....lol.

and i always see the movies. but i always get disappointed (except with fight club)

i went and saw the newest Harry Potter movie last month when it came out. went to the midnight showing and everything. TOTAL waste of time, it sucked worse than i could have ever imagined.

Chuck is good, that's for sure. I love the book. As I said, my only issue is that the little surprise is taken away by having seen the flick. Still, it seems like there are enough clues that I might have guessed.

That's the problem, I've been diappointed too often with films which don't come up to the book,I suppose it depends how good the book is too if it really grabs you and then your imagination gets so into it, even the best director can't match that.

That's the problem, I've been diappointed too often with films which don't come up to the book,I suppose it depends how good the book is too if it really grabs you and then your imagination gets so into it, even the best director can't match that.

i kind of go into the movies expecting that they will be terrible pieces of crap and not like the book at all. more often than not they end up being not that bad, so i don't get disappointed. problem with movies is they have to appeal to a much wider audience, which means they get watered down a lot.
