Another Final Fantasy RPG

[The Black Rose]

OOC: I will be your casual 'jackass' of the game (i.e. Vincent, Cid, Zell, those guys), and I will not be an easy to find person, well, please, if you care to join this game, post your characters. A few villians are needed, as is main character, and a couple of support characters. I will initiate myself when I feel the time is right, please use the following format for designing your character, and posting him, or her.

Weapon: Duel Razor Sharp Claws, Shuriken
Personality: Jackass, Antagonist, somber
Hair : Jet Black, long, in a pony tail
Eyes : Deep, royal blue, seem to contain a well of saddness
Build : Very slender, but muscular, fast
Bio : Has wandered from the age of 14, is currently taking lodging in an inn of a waterback town. Hasn't seen his father in 7 years, the reason he left home. Never gets to close to anyone, due to a lack of trust.
Family : Father was last known to be MIA due to a disapperance in the military. Mother has been dead for 16 years. Only one brother, currently serving in the Galastrian military.
(OOC NOTICE: Will not appear until the time is right!)

OOC: Here is a bit about the world, there are 4 main continents, one of them is known as the Galastrian continent, and is the northmost, very cold weather up there. Another of the continents in the Kukalyain continent, it is an oriental continent, and is very mistical their, not many people go there, for it is very dangerous. Next, is the Dominaria continent, constantly at war with Galastria, and is the eastern most continent. Finally, is the nameless continent, its nameless because Im out of names. If anyone can come up with a few ideas to add to these, please do, for I am really bad with ideas. Thank you for your time, and I hope you decide to join.

And for those of you that are wondering, I chose 4 contitnents because that is what Squaresoft generally uses as the continent count, feel free to correct me on this one.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with having two similarly-named threads going at the same time, so just ignore any criticism you get. Just make sure your thread isn't anything like the other final fantasy thread. Anyway, yours sounds interesting, if you renew it I'll post on it, and there's a lot of other people who I bet would too.

OCC: I fail to see the problem starting another FF RPG. The other one has already starrted, and some people may not like its story line and plot and prefer a diffrent one.
I looked at the other one, and I didn't like it, and it was to far in to join. Therefore, I will join this one.

Name: Lance
Age: 19
Race: Elf
Sex: Male
Weapon: A Magical Ring
Personality: Stuborn, secretive, strong willed, open minded,
Appearance: Long brown hair, which hides his ears somewhat. Brown eyes. Light build, but fast. Wears a dark grean rob with a dark green cloak. Prefers to wear the hod of his rob as much as he can.
Family: All killed when he was only 5 years old. His father left a him a green ring he wears on his right hand.
Bio: At the age of 5, Lance lost his whole family in the borning of the Magical Forest on Kukalyain. Lance spent many years of his life fighting his way through the Continent of Kukalyain searching for other Elfs and trying to figure out what happened to his family.
After 10 long years, Lance had only found an acient book in the Elvain langauge. Lance, had growen up with onlya basic knowelage in the Elvain tongue. Only knowing the Human's English, Lance set out to find follow Elfs to help him learn his language.
At the age of 16, Lance came across a sea dock in his jurny, and being the young foolish kid that he was, he got on to one of the old ships looking for food. Before he could get off, the ship was on it's way to sea.
After a couple months, the ship docked at a sea port on a coldish land, the Galastrian continent. Lance spent the next 3 years searching the country for other Elfs, but only found short lived humans. Lance was disgusted at the war-like-ways of humans and thought best to hide that he was a Elf.
Presently, Lance is in a small counrty town not far from a sea port. Hopping to get on to another ship on go home.

I think we should post our ideas in this thread and have others before we start. Once we have enough players, we can start, and if The Black Rose is back, he can start it off, if not, I will.

Personality: Serious, concentrated, fearless, cares for nothing
Hair : Pitch black as the midnight sky in a world of no light
Eyes ark Blue
Build : Slightly muscular, strong legs
Bio : Drakonis is the product of a Dragon raping a human woman. His other died when he was born from what doctors said as mysterious 3rd degree burns in her womb. After his mother's death Drakonis was taken in by his grandfather who taught him the ways of peace. When Drakonis was 15 his grandfather was beaten to death by a group of vandals, but before he died told Drakonis of his heritage and of a mystical staff that appeared when he was born and had kept until this day. Drakonis vowed to avenge his grandfather as he held his dead body in his arms. Drakonis took the staff out of the store room and into his hands. The moment he touched it he felt a fire down within the pit of his stomach the rose up and out of his mouth as a massive fire ball. His powers were finally surfacing. He left his grandfather's house nve to return again. Finally deciding to seek out the murderous fiends who had killed his grandfather and to further develop his new found power, Drakonis travels the continents...

I'll wait for the setting of this story to be described before I post a character profile. Anybody have any ideas on the setting? World? Is this an independant, or will it follow the background of one of the final fantasy games out there already? We need someone to come out and take GM control of this thread. (Hint hint, Black Rose)

I got a few ideas of how I would like the story for my guy to go. But I am not sure about for every one. I am hoping Black Rose has a idea of a stroy line, since he started this FF Thread, I think it is only fair to let him have the word on how things go.

Alright here's my character

Name: Capt Rodger Norris
Age: 450 but thinks he's 38
Weapons: Twin Rapiers one (L) that drains the life from an enemy, the other (R) freezes them.
Some minor posion magic skills.
Bio: Rodger is the captain of "The Red Baron" a ghost airship that is manned by skeletons. Rodger doesn't see them as skeletons though he sees them as the flesh of his men that served under him. Rodger and his men died hundreds of years ago when his enemy attempted to board his ship. Rather than let his ship be taken over, he detonated his ship, sinking it. Rodger however has no recollection of this and countinues to sail through the skies over the continents.

And also, there was no 'underground continent' in FF3... sorry.

Drakonis is destined to be a hero (although doesn't know it yet), but first he must get past and control his rage. A friend? A message? Love? Don't know yet. I'm still thinking of the possibilities.

yeah the dwarves were cool but I was thinking of were you find the summoner girl after she disappears, it was an underworld area where all the monsters she summons live.

Does anyone know if or when we're starting the thread?
