Another Example Of Obama's Flamboyant Stupidity

in response to the assertion by COWARDCURRY that military "rapes" widespread

and his INABILITY to show that

I would like to remind you all

a long while ago, he did link to a 'study'

THAT SHOWED NO SUCH THING:cool:

Doesn't stop him from LYING and DISTORTNG

He should have shut up and adhered to the U.S. policy of not negotiating with terrorists.

YEah. That's a stupid policy made up by stupid people. (Though I never believed that was actually the case but still)

It never benefits us to negotiate with terrorists, it gives them legitimacy they don't deserve. Liberals surrender when they sue for peace after losing 2100 dead and 44,000 wounded. It underlines their belief that American lives and treasure can be wasted in vain. I think killing the Taliban in huge numbers benefits us more.

We don't have any good choices. Those men that were wounded or died did so to keep America safe and free, not to destroy the Taliban. If they are ready to talk so are we. That should have been the goal from day one. To bad too many people are too stupid.

The bottom line is the President should have shut the fuck up and let the military judicial process take place. Because of his interference the process will be delayed, as will other cases will be delayed when this defense is presented. But you don't care, all you care about is killing the messenger and protecting an incompetent Commander in Chief. Typical dummy.
Bullshit.

Courts civilian and military will grab at any excuse to drag out their processes. You just don't like the President.

A military judicial system that slabs a man's wrist, gives him a wink and a nod for raping a woman. A military judicial system which has been promising for years to take action. Some action, sexual assaults again have increase from 2011 to 2012. An average of 70 sexual assaults are reported daily within the military and even the military admits sexual assault are vastly under reported because women don't believe they'll get justice. I don't think so!

Thank god President Obama had the intestinal fortitude to say something, our congressional leader won't act.

Show me a single case where a service man guilty of rape received a "slabs" on the wrist. When the Commander in Clown opens his big mouth, which is 24/7, justice is denied to both the victim and the accused. You make a lot of noise but present no proof.

Here ya go

Spin that.

As a military mental health provider I encountered this dozens if not hundreds of times. What happens is that the victim files a report and the commander doesn't like it and throws out the charge. It's either:

1) turned into a nonspecific article 15 with a slap-on-the-wrist consequence
2) turned into an unofficial consequence without even an article 15, just extra duty or something
3) thrown out completely

As mental health fight commander on multiple bases I had eyes-on every sexual assault charge made and I'd say about one rape charge per year actually went to court. And the alleged offender was always - without exception - a troop that command was trying to get rid of anyway.

Yeah that's not a very good example. The guy was convicted then later had it dismissed and the wife says the victims testimony was false. On the surface that whole case looks like justice.

But the guy's CO shouldn't get to make that determination. That's the job of the court.

Maybe not but that's how it works. Just not a good case to cite for something like that. Like I said, on the surface it's a questionable case. This is actually the only time I've heard of someone totally dismissing a conviction in this manner. I'm sure it happens but it can't be too often just because of the questions it would raise. Personally I would assume he had good cause to do it just because he had to know he'd face some harsh criticism. Nobody above Major does anything without looking at the potential political fallout.

Oh and let me add in that this goes for child abuse, including child sexual abuse as well, Vette. When there's evidence that a good, hard working troop us molesting his child the case is often dissolved by the commander as well.

Stop molesting his child, MORON.

According to our Military of those cases that are reported, about one in 10 proceeds to trial.

"It is rare for commanders to grant clemency. The Air Force said it has recorded 327 convictions over the past five years for sexual assault, rape and similar crimes, but only five verdicts have been overturned in clemencies." Roughly 2%. Isn't that wonderful the Air Force has convicted 327 out of the thousands of women who reported sexual assault.

"Two Air Force courts, a trial court and an appellate court, have refused to allow a sexual assault victim’s appointed attorney to represent her in court as she tries to protect her privacy. On Tuesday, Protect Our Defenders filed an amicus brief in support of the victim in the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (“CAAF”)."

Oh yes the military justice system has our backs, I have land to sell, real cheep, in the middle of the pacific too.

This is our military's response to solving the problem of sexual assault and rape of women military members, "Air Force Brochure Tells Sexual Assault Victims to ‘Submit’". Exactly the opposite of what a woman should do.

The truth is President Obama did exactly what he should have done, speak the truth, demand justice be done, speak for the people who elected him. What Judge Fulton did was try to put a gag order on the President of the United States. Some of us do wonder what Judge Fulton's real motives are!

World Violence Against Women Report released. BusyBody's head explodes and LT commits suicide. Film at Eleven.

Vettebitch longs for the good old days when he could rape a woman and she'd shut the fuck up about it.
