I'm new to posting here and i was wondering where everyone got their avitars. Are there sites that make them or do you just make them yourself? Also, what format do they have to be in?

the Avatars come from just about everywhere. You can use any picture you find on the web or scan into your computer as long as it will shrink down to less than 150 pixels in the longest dimension and is smaller than 20Kb.

When you go to install it on your user control panel, there is a list of acceptable formats. Most are GIF or JPG.

Use the search button at the upper right of this page, and search for "avatar" or "dolly" in the subject lines of the how to forum and you'll turn up more than you really eant to know about avatars.
