another Avatar question

Does anyone have any good sites to pick some avatars from? I like using my own pics, but want to look at some other options since its been about 8 months since I've taken pics.

Also, I notice alot of people have their "Imoods" listed in their signatures. How do you get it to show up.

I haven't seen any free avatars that were very good -- most are cartoonish and usually smaller than Lit permits.

If you have the software to make avatars from your own pictures, then almost any image you find on the web is a candidate for your avatar.

As for the iMoods in signatures, if Manu ever gets around to to turning HTML in signatures off they'll quit working. In the meantime, the iMooods site has the html code required and all you need to do is cut and paste from there to your signature line.

Hornygirl - the hardest thing about av is the resizing, especially with animated gifs. I use Paintshop Pro and animation shop 2.

Works quite well with any picture of your choice.

I havent taken any new pics in awhile....I've just not been feeling very good about how I look and really got into a slump.

However, I am starting to get the exhibitionist urge again. Since I haven't found anything out there that catches my eye, I think Delurker and I will have to work on some new pics.

I do want to thank everyone for your assistance. As you can see I got the imood thing to work. I am still trying to get used to the new format here, and hope when I do find that new pic to use for my next avatar I can figure how to get it uploaded.

I noticed my imood was now showing up as the html codes rather than my imood so I removed it. Did something change here that we cant use the imoods?

Or did I inadvertently mess something up in my User CP?

HTML has been disabled in signatures. I o not knowof any wayto duplicate the iMoods display with vb codes.

It's not something you did, but I don't think there is any way to use iMoods in your signature from here on out.

Well, using a smaller avatar that Lit permits is not a bad thing, after all. Many of the user sigs are too big and far too long, IMHO - and same goes for the avatars

The best way to get them is to browse many forums with computer fatantics and stole them their avaters, hehe

As for the "free avatars" - well, anything you ever place on the internet will be stolen, so... As long, as the avatar could be displayed, it could be saved, edited and used by another person.

I don't really think that someone could make up his living by selling avatars anyway.

If it does, then I would like work for such company. I got a huge personall collection of interesting (mostly computer related ones) avaters already...

There are several avatars that I wish were bigger, and some that I wish weren't visible at all, but in general I like the avatars that use the full 150x150 pixel size the best -- but then I'm getting old and my eyes are what they used to be and a small, dark avatar is often just a "black box" to me.

Now I do very much like a gif avatar, showing tied up girlie, pussywhipped by another one from back Now that will be a avatar pretty much describing my perverted mind

Okey, dokey, your eyes aren't best, but then you just have to get stronger glases. I more like every detail and such, so... Smaller nice avatars are IMHO cool, 150x150 pixels is overkill.

How do you like my new one? (Im going to log off and then ona and UL it right now )
