Saw an interview with the director - what happened? He's lost buckets of weight since Lord of the Rings! I think I liked him better when he was a chubby wubby hobbit!

Apparently you have to be a billionaire for it to work. I've been sitting in front of a Microsoft Windows screen and it's having an opposite effect really. :rolleyes:
 
I hope he doesn't have cancer or something. That would suck.

By the way if you're a fan of his films, it might interest you to know he became famous down here for his low budget comedy splatter films. I can recommend them if you can find them.

Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles and Brain Dead.

In Bad Taste he plays the role of an alien AND a goverment agent as well as basically making the whole film. There's an amazing scene where both characters have a fight on a cliffside. You'd never believe that Peter's playing both of them as they battle it out.

In Brain Dead two zombies have sex and make a zombie baby.

I just read in an interview that he said he simply stopped eating junk food. He also said he really wants to do another low-budget horror film. Yay! :)

He'll star The Hobbit as sson s they get the distibution right sorted out.. seems the studio owns the right to make the movie but not to distibute it.. and teh distibution is where the money is.. so we wait on the lawyers..

The leading man is awful, the villain is beautiful and the leading woman is gorgeous. The fashions are wonderful and the boat sinks. :)
