Anyone have a complete list, in order of all the Vampire books?

I need to recollect most of them and I'd prefer to do it in order...

:(

yes, I am dissapointed with the one I have just completed, she has lost the erotic flavour, yes?

i have not read last one still stuck on memnoch

:p

All I know is, I wouldn't mind being in a Maruis / Armand sandwich.

I just read Blood and Gold. I got it in the mail.

Now I'm rereading The Vampire Armand.

Other than those two, all of my collection seems to have disappeared. Queen Of the Damned got rained on :(

her vampire series is really good Nessie.

I will, merci:)

Vampire Books by Anne Rice:
Interview With the Vampire The Vampire Chronicles Book One (1976)
The Vampire Lestat The Vampire Chronicles Book Two (1985)
The Queen of the Damned The Vampire Chronicles Book Three (1988)
The Tale of the Body Thief The Vampire Chronicles Book Four (1992)
Memnoch the Devil The Vampire Chronicles Book Five (1995)

The Vampire Armand The Vampire Chronicles Book Six (1998)

Pandora: New Tales of the Vampires The New Vampire Chronicles Book One (1998)*
Vittorio the Vampire The New Vampire Chronicles Book Two (1999)*

Blood and Gold (2001) *

Merrick is another one that is linked to the vampire series but not actually part of the Vampire Chronicles

Here is the vampire ones. I hope I got it right. The ones with the * I haven't read.

And below is a (hopefully) a complete list of what she has written

What about lasher? Or was that the sequel to The Witching Hour?

Bleh I forget.

my favorite two books of hers weren't vampirish at all (though i've read four or five of those too)

i loved The Feast of all Saints...it was the first book of hers i'd ever read and her lyrical style has never been better than in this wonderful tale

and then i read Cry to Heaven next, and loved it too

For a little BDSM action, try the Sleeping Beauty books by Rice...

I second the Laurell K. Hamilton books.
I've got and read them all, even the new one that's outside the series.

She's an exceptional writer. Not nearly as dense as Anne Rice but far more readable AND the books don't go dry and dead in your hands after the fourth in the series.

I will get them now,:)

I agree about the Laurell K. Hamilton Books. I recieved one by accident via a book club and now I am hooked.

As soon as I finish replenishing my Anne Rice collection (I miss those books damnit) I'll be working on collecting every Hamilton book I can find.

Yep, Lasher was the second book of the Mayfair witches; Taltos was the third.

:)
girl, keeper of useless knowledge.

Angel!

The Witchy Books Are MUCH Better!

You Know, I'm Sure:) But If You Have Not Read Them Then Do So, Cuz They Are Great!

Exit To Eden Was My First Anne Rice Book, But I Do Belive That She Was Writing Under Anne Rampling....Great Book!

Ya Think I Like Emclamation Points? LOL

I agree- the Mayfair books are excellent! I read The Witching Hour in high school and I couldn't wait until Lasher came out. I also love how she kind of ties it in with David Talbot (I thnk that's his name?)

Erotic flavor? I suppose if you consider shredded cardboard a 'flavor'.

I agree!!
Also recommend "The Mummy" by Anne Rice....love
that book too!! :)

I just rejoined Vittorio the Vampire. I took a short break to read Douglas Coupland's 'Miss Wyoming'...

I like Anne Rice's book generally........but what really interests me is Stan Rice's poetry that is tucked in here and there in her books...In fact he has a gallery not three blocks from my house...I've been meaning to go for ages, and I think this thread is a sign...
I suppose he paints as well? Takes photographs? I always want to go in every time i walk by...

Just finished with Merrick It is a cross over of the Vampire Chronicles and the Mayfair Witches.. It is not bad.. worth a read..but Ms. Rice has done better.

I didn't notice it mentioned in a quick scroll through this thread, but has anyone read Anne Rice's "Beauty" series written under a pseudonym something along the lines of (Anne?) Roloquer (sp?)? They are listed in the front of some of her early vampire publishings. Some of the hottest erotica s/o and I have ever read. She ordered them from a local (conservative) bookstore and than asked me to pick them up without telling me what they were. Man, the looks I got from those old ladies that ran the store. But, it was damned well worth it.

But of course, was it Anne Rampling? Light almost vanilla version of bdsm but there was a Beast/man involved so forgive my prejudices, yes:)
