If I were an animal, I think I'd be a horse.

They're long and graceful and I've always just felt a connection to horses.

What animal are you?

Well, I am a homo procrastinatus, but given a choice of genus I'd be a Megaptera novaeangliae... a humpback whale. 7/10ths of the world to roam, filling the oceans with music.

Hippogriff

I may want to change my answer...

Hippogriff, n.: An animal (now extinct) which was half horse and half griffin. The griffin was itself a compound creature, half lion and half eagle. The hippogriff was actually, therefore, only one quarter eagle, which is two dollars and fifty cents in gold. The study of zoology is full of surprises.

In the important college research I did maaannnnnnnny years ago, a whale penis is between 3.5 and 6.2 feet in length. Most mammals have a bone inside. Jack Gleason had a collection of mammal "bones." Used them for bar stools, the whale penis bones...

Where did that come from?
