Have you tried removing all the sighs? Just a thought.

Medication does work. However, you may feel like it isn't. Stop taking it and you'll find out how much it was working.

Aniexty

I think your real problem might be dyslexia or that you are related to Doll Parts.

A mixture of medication and talk therapy. Meditation is comforting also.

Srsly? Wtf. If you want medical advice the best place to solicit it is on a word porn site.
Oh yeah, meds work. Ask for as much as you can possibly get your hands on. SSRI's, antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, Adderall throw in some pain meds mix it all up in a big bag, reach in grab a handful and toss those fuckers back. Guaranteed anxiety will be the least of your worries, might even help your dyslexia.

Just curious. Thanks though. I removed the sighs. I feel much better...

I inserted eyerolls instead. Just dealing with a lot. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine. Lots of your comments helped. Haha. :D:D

Thanks for your thoughts I appreciate it

As Robin Williams (as Vladimir Ivanoff) said in Moscow on the Hudson:

"I did not love my life...
...but I loved my misery.
You know why?
Because it was my misery.

I could hold it.
I could caress it.
I loved my misery."

Learn to embrace your depression...like Robin did.

Well...not exactly like Robin did.
He killed himself.
But, you know what I mean. :)

Have you had a physical? Certain medical conditions such as diabetes or thyroid problems can cause these things. So can food intolerances. And certain prescription meds, even OTC things like allergy pills can cause these problems.

Can't believe I found this thread. I'm going through the same feelings.

For those that say meditation -- how do you turn off your brain long enough to get the anxious thoughts to stop?

Go and see a medical professional. And try to get out in the sun more - Vitamin D is good for a plethora of ills (that's actual science). But mostly go and see and medical professional.

(Meds do work, but usually not instantly, and it trial and error to find the right dosage. Things like anxiety and depression can't be tested for, so if the doctor doesn't get it all exactly right the first time, it's not actually their fault - that's just part of the process.)

When i'm medicated I'm not anxious or depressed.

When I'm unmedicated I write.

some meds work well. some don't. Some lead me to have a fatty liver and other medical problems.

I found one eventually courtesy of a helpful doctors and trial and error that is much less intrusive and a lot physically healthier for me and have lost about 30 kilos since taking it and it seems to keep me stable.

It's a minefield that is bests navigated with educated professionals and your own instincts as to how meds affect you. Those doctors may have spent a few years studying but you have spent your whole life being you and will know more intimately how meds are affecting you.

Google is not a doctor or at all helpful.

Forums are at best a social litmus test.
