Harry Bosch investigates 3 murders: a dead burglar in a pawn shop, a dead toddler, and something else. Its mostly police procedures to get whodunit. In one story the cops let it go cause the victim needed killing. Reminded me of the local thug who died after he cut himself beaking into a home of elderly folks. The cops couldn't get the man to the hospital or even let EMS treat him without multiple stuns, and he died in a violent fit. FUG EM DAN'O. The stories are interesting and quick reads.
