And it's one more reason I wish that the college had HBO on its list of channels. I hope they put the miniseries on DVD as soon as possible. I really want to see it!

Pacino and Streep richly deserved their awards. Pacino was just excellent as Roy Cohn, one of his best performances. The supporting characters were good too.

I'm not sure of some of the political angles in the story. You'll have to make up your own mind. For example, cold war atomic spy Ethel Rosenberg was a recurring vision for Cohn on his deathbed. She was a traitor to the US and I fear that there was an attempt at portraying her too sympathetically.

For sex and language content, this series is X-rated, so put the kiddies to bed first.

Over the years I've become a fan of both Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson, but I've yet to see a Pacino film. (Go figure! He's been in so many classic films!) I know I'd love him, though. The show looks really intriguing and I'd love to at least watch one part to see if I'd like it or not.

And I don't have to worry about putting the kids to bed. I'm 18 and in college. There's no little children running around here. :D (even though some of the college students act like they are  )
