Angelique needs your help.

Angelique, I've been somewhat incommunicado lately due to being out of town, weather problems getting home and the dagnabbit clicker on my laptop being stuck.

I have my fingers (and toes) crossed and said a few prayers. Keep us posted.

I had pneumonia several years ago and was in the hospital for nine days. I know how that goes. Anybody ever have that procedure where they stick the tube down your throat and into your lung? Terrible. Believe you me there are other things I would rather gag on.

My cousin had asthma since he was a toddler until his mid-teens when he "out-grew" it. He did the inhalers and made a few trips to the emergency room for the breathing machine or a shot of adrenaline. But it's very controllable if you're careful.

Anyway, all the best for you and son, Angelique.

All my prayers

Having been through a similar situation with my youngest several years ago I sympathize with you and offer my humble prayers in your sons behalf. Having sat through the night with a child to sick to move and wondered why this has to happen I can only tell you that there is a reason, God hasn't shown us that reason yet but it is there. I hope my words and prayers have been some comfort to you.

Angelique
I know my situation is not the same but I do know what it's like to have a child so sick they don't know what it is. Hang in there hon - they will do everything they can to help as they have for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just wanted to let everybody know that I got word from Angelique that her son is out of the ICU and is doing well.

On my own behalf, thank you all who have been so kind to pray for her and her son in these hard times. It's good to see that there are still people in the world that do care about other people, even though they might not know them.

So very glad to hear he is out, but know it is a long hard road ahead, so will keep those positive waves pointed in their direction. I hope someone is watching out for her too. Sounds like she is not getting the proper rest, and I am guessing here, not eating right I bet. Please Shyguy, make sure she has someone watching her. She needs to keep her health and strength too.

Thanks for letting us know. I hope he continues to do well.I will keep sending those good thoughts for Angelique & her kids.

though I have not posted on this post in a while....

I am still keeping you and your in my prayers and thoughts. Trying to have positive thoughts and eating my "Wheaties" for you........*hug to Angelique*
