OOC:Sorry guys, been out of town and unable to get my comp fix in, I'll be back to posting regualarly by mon.

IC: I looked back at Lindsay " Your place, lets go!"

We walked along the darkened streets till we reached his apartment. I thought of how he would fit into my plan. I knew the day would come soon and I needed somone out there during the day to find out what was happening with the goody gang.

"Nice place, does it have a view?"

Lindsey

Lindsey turned back and pulled the curtains. "yes, but it's almost dawn, so the view will have to wait. what are you doing ehre? i didn't know when you'd come back to deal with these people, i was convinced it was never!" he walked sround the room pulling blinds and keeping natural sun out.

Darla

I watched as the shades were pulled to keep the sunlight out.

"Lindsay, I need your help to kill the slayer. She is in town you know and she is after me again. I just saw her back at the hotel, she is back to kill me. I need to hide for now for I am weak and hungry."

I sat down on the plush couch in the middle of the room.

"And how have you been lately, my dear Lindsay?"

Lindsey sat down beside darla. "she's here.... then we must do something about that. whatever i can do to help i will." Lindsey smiled. "they have been long days darla. and i've missed seeing you. what have you been up to all this time?"

 

[badmatt]

He looked from Buffy and her "I'm ready," to Cordy, and then over to Wesley.

"Wes, you don't think we're ready for Darla, even with the slayer at our side???? Come on we've been doing this a while now, we're not incompetent." Angel turned and slowly headed for the sewer entrance that was at the bottom of the stairs, giving Wes ample time to answer him if he chose to.

Wesley

Looking at Angel he responded by saying " I know you aren't incompetent at your job."

I would propose however that Buffy and yourself go (Angel). I do believe she isnt in the sewers.

Cordelia if you want to go i will not stop you.

I have another couple of places to visit and thought you might like to join me Cordelia, your choice.


Walking to the desk and sitting down i start reading the book again, hoping to find another clue that might help me.

Cordelia

" Look the way things ar going I am just going to end up locked here in the office... Im going... wheter it is the sewers or any other place... "

Cordelia turns to see Angel and Buffy... " Although... maybe it will be a good choice to go with Wes, I think you two both dont need any backup or anything... "

Buffy

Buffy supposed she could tell that Angel and her were once again working side by side, just like in the 'old days'. She could tell that she wasn't really needed - not when Slayer and Vampire were working together again.

And Buffy was glad. Yes, they had come to some agreement, and she could even see them becoming friends during her stay ('However long it will be...' she thought), but she was glad to have the time with her ex-lover. It had been long, too long, and she wanted to talk with him again.

"Shall we go?" she asked, wondering why she was so quiet all of a sudden.

Darla

"As you said, The days have been long and things just aren't like they once were. The thirst has gotten stronger and that god damn Spike and his dreadful Dru aren't what they once were either."

I moved from where I had sat moving towards Lidsey. I let my form change to vampiric as I moved and then change back.

"Mortals just don't quench my thirst anymore. I crave the blood of the slayer. Thats where I ran into trouble with spike and Dru. You must know of them. Spike, the only vampire to kill a slayer, two in fact. I tried to get him to help me with my Buffy problem but Dru stepped in and I had to make her go crazy. Lindsey, will you be my eyes during the day, help me quench my thirst."

Wesley.

Hoping Angel and Buffy would stay safe was all i could do.

Taking the book and getting myself another weapon from the cabinet i made my way towards the door.

"Cordelia you can follow or stay here" I said. I know you hate being stuck here.


Entering the street i took the whole scene in. I was also giving Cordelia time to decide, even though i think i knew her answer.

Remembering there was another book which would prove useful i went back in and retrieved it from the shelf. I would endeavour to catch Darla using my few skills.

Spike

Spike walked down the dark tunnels... walking throught the sewers... He was a long way from Sunnydale... chasing after a incredible yet troublesome vampire... Darla, and to top it of he had to find her before the slayer did...

Darla had caused him a lot of trouble in her visit to Sunnydale, she had tried to kill the slayer and cast some kind of spell on Dru.

He was going to find her... and return some of the chaos she had brought him to his life...

Cordelia

"Cordelia you can follow or stay here, I know you hate being stuck here. "

Cordelia walks towards the door, not saying a word and stands outside...

As soon as Wesley comes out the door she turns to him... " I´ll drive ".

Lindsey

Lindsey nodded, notcing how Darla looked as a vampire. "I will help in anyway that i can, in fact," Lindey reached into his cloak and pulled out several large books. "these interested me, and they may be of some use to you as well. they are books from the library."

Linsey got up and pulled a few blankets out of the closet. "would be plannin on staying here?"

Darla

I watched as he pulled the books out and showed them to me.

"How might your books help me, I probably know what is in them, they are as old as I as least."

I snifed the air, something old was around. Spike, I thought to myself. I pushed him from my mind as I leaned against Lindsey.

"I'll stay here with you untill the sun disapears and then we shall see where I am to go."

My mind wandered to the days when things were easy. The days when Angelus and I roamed free through the old countryside of Ireland and Scotland. I sent the memories drifting in the wind of the dawn hoping he too would remember and return to me bringing fresh blood with him as he used to.

"Lindsey, my dear, I'm hungry. Would you find me something pure to feed on?" I wispered into his ear softly.

Wesley

Having retrieved the other book from the shelf i returned to the street to find Cordelia waiting.

After getting in Cordelia's car i said " take this down to the end and then turn right pls"

I started to read the book while Cordelia was driving. Losing myself in the book and a certain chapter i stopped reading and looked at Cordelia.

She was concentrating on her driving, i was planning to visit a place i believed would be helpful.

Lindsey

Lindsey sat back down beside Darla, and she leaned against him. he slinked an arm around her and she seemed to drift off. after several minuted she leaned back farther and whispered into Lindsey's ear. "Lindsey, my dear, I'm hungry. Would you find me something pure to feed on?"

Lindey smiled at her and nodded. "of course, i'll be back." he got up and left the apartment. making his way out of the building he though how he would get someone. she wanted something pure, so the easiest way, buy a whore was not good, he could go to a bar and try to pick someone up, but he'd have to get her right at the door, before her blood became intoxicated. he wasn't about to go kidnap someone. what was he going to do. he was walking down the street, it was still very early. a young girl walked past him, and he thought, why the hell not? "Hey! theres a party in that building over there, looking for more people, want to go?"

Lindey sighed at the retorted "not on your life asshole!" and kept going down the street. There was someone comming around the corner, Lindsey slouched over and acted drunk, falling over at the man's feet

The man helped him up and said "hey, you need some help buddy?" Lindsey nodded and pointed to his apartment building. the man helped him all the way to his door, and when Lindey opened it he dragged the man with him into the room.

Darla

I watched as Lindsey walked out of the apartment to find my meal. I watched from the shaded window as the darkness enveloped the city.

Lidsay returned from his hunt for me to bring my strenth back. A man was helping him into the apartment. I could smell the swwetness of his blood as he entered. I could feel his warmth from where I stood at the window.

"what a treat Lindsey" I commented as I approached the man. I grabbed him be his tie and pulled him into the room as Linsey straightened himself. I craved him as I forced him onto the couch crawling on top of him. I could feel his body tense in fear as my form changed and my teeth grew to fangs. The adrenalin rushed through him as he sensed his life was in danger. I struck fast drinking him deep. the sweet coppery taste of his life line ran accross my tongue as I ran my fingers through his hair coaxing him to give me more.

Slowly the man died as I drank the last from him. I pulled back and issed his on his cold dead lips thanking him for my meal.

"Lindey, now that was sweet, would you like a taste too?"as I strted to lick my lips clean offering him what was left on my delicate fingers

Lindsey

Lindsey watcher Darla seep the life out of the stranger, she offered his blood, he had never drank blood before, but he supposed it couldn't hurt. Lindsey smiled "sure Darla"

Lindsey knelt down beside Darla and licked her fingers, tasting the blood on them. it tasted like copper, like all blood did he guessed, but the he closed his mouth around each of her fingers and sucked them clean slowly, looking back up he pulled his mouth away and smiled at her.

Cordelia

Cordelia drives her car following Wesleys directions... Wondering where are they going and eager to get there...

" So, Wesley, where are you directing me to? "

Darla

I watched intently as I his mouth moved over my fingers tasting the meal he had brought for me. His tongue along my hands as he licked them clean. He pulled away and looked at me. I leaned in and placed a kiss upon his lips.

"Thank you Lindsey for all you have done." I leaned into towards his neck. I felt him back off thinkig that I would soon make him one of my victims.

"You must trust me more my dear. Remember you are lower on the food chain than I." I laughed a bit as he relaxed and I proceeded to leave a trail of gentle kisses down his neck leaving only the slightest nick to taste him. I could feel his hands on me by now caressing ever so gently.

Wesley.

I had returned to reading the book and lost myself there. I was awakened by Cordelia's questions about where we were heading.

Closing the book i reached out one hand and lightly touched Cordelia's legs with my fingertips. I moved them a little higher as i said " an old desolate and rundown church then my place ." We have both done enough for the evening.

Removing my hand from Cordelia's leg and opening the book i said " I do believe that we are not the only ones chasing Darla."

I knew the church would hold a few clues for me as the library underneath it was still intact.

I wasnt sure whether my contact on Cordelia's leg was something i should have done.

"Yeah, let's get going Buffy." He waited for her to walk down the stairs to the sewer first. It looked to everyone like he was just being a gentleman, but he'd always had a thing for her backside, and passing up the chance to get a good view was something he wasn't going to do.

"The sewers can't be where you really wanted to be on your big trip to LA, sorry about that, but something tells me we really need to be looking for Darla and stopping whatever she's up to next."

Cordelia

" Done enough for the evening? c´mon I dont want to rest... I dont need to rest... If you are tird I can drop you of at your place... ".

Cordelia keeps her eyes on the road and parks her car in front of an old Church... She looks up to the building...

" Great... more books... ", She gets out of the car and heads for the entrance...

Lindsey

Lindsey felt Darla leaving a trail of prick along his heck, softened by kisses. His hands trailed up her arms and down across her back. he Ran his arms up and down her back slowly, and softly while she gently kissed him. he bent his head down and kissed her shoulder. he moved back up to the couch and let his arms slips bac around her.

Wesley

We stopped outside the church and we both entered.

The room to get to the basement was at the back and this was a good place for demons to hide. Finding the trapdoor i lever it open and light the way down.

Going down the ladder and reaching the bottom i scan the room and notice the area of interest.

Taking two thick books from the shelves, i notice something glint at my eye. Inspecting it closer its a bright silver container which i pocket just as Cordelia comes into view.

I look at Cordelia and wonder what she makes of this place?

I didnt want to stop tonite and i wasnt tired, i wanted to show Cordelia a different side to me beyond demon slaying and research.
