Cordelia sat behind a desk filled with old books, she should be classifying them, but how could she if she did not knew what half of them were for and the language on the other half was some kind of long lost tounge that only Angel or Wesley understood.

Business is not good this days, and not because of the lack of costumers ( or should they be refered as victims? ), she had been recieving a lot of visions of people in trouble. The problem was Angel is more concerned with all that Darla conflict than in helping people out. Right now Wesley and Gunn are out trying to stop some demon from... well from doing things demons normally do... and she was stuck here, with the paperwork... or bookwork... or whatever the hell it can be called... Iis not fair, everyone gets the exciting parts of the job, the dangers... ( was she actually thinking that? )

Well she had gotten used to this life... filled with demons, vampires, ghosts, and things that could shock nost people... but not her, not anymore, she had changed a lot and now she wouldnt be able to leave this life... she liked it... well most of it...

Cordleia stares at the piles of books and sighs... there are parts of it that I could definetly do without...

Wesley

Being in a pretty deserted part of town i knew what to expect and so did Gunn.

I motioned towards the alleyway sensing the demon's evil spirit, having the necessary tools to defeat the demon we both entered the alleyway.

The alleyway was littered with junk all over the place, there were a few big rubbish bins towards the end. Gunn and I made our way down towards them.

Then it appeared from just where i hadnt expected. Gunn duck mate. He did. Taking my chance while i had it, i took the demon out.

Checking the alleyway for anymore and not finding any we both left and made our way back to Cordelia.

a thought came to me whilst walking back and keeping it to myself i said " i will teach cordelia some of what i know in the field".

Seeing Cordelia i said "one down for the night, but i think there are more around" sighing.

Lindsey

Lindsey watched the other absentmindedly as he picked through the shelves looking for something that could help his carrer, that or help out the vampires. didn't mater, one affected the other.
he heard the door opena dn close and the story of illing another vampire came to his hears.

He grinned. didn't matter who died, that would be a family looking for justice. and he would do everything he could. to help them or hurt them. when it came down to it, he sdidn't care. but the vampires always paid him beter. he found a book that might be interesting and crawled back out the window, shutting it behind him

He wandered back into the office and saw Cordelia behind the desk.

"Hi Cordelia." His black trenchcoat flowing behind him as he walked until he with a seeming flick of the wrist, because the rest was almost too fast to see, slipped it off. "How's business tonite? Anything new?" Sitting in the desk as he watched her, he wondered what adventures they'd start tonite.

Darla

I entered LA by the tunnels of the sewer to go unnoticed. I always hated travel this way but I was in trouble and Angel was the only one who was going to be able to help. I already pissed off that blond haired freak, Spike back in good old Hellmouth Sunnydale by getting a sourcerer to put a crazy spell on Dru. He was out of the question. Angel was the only answer.

I could hear the hustle above me along the streets and I could smell the fear lurking in the hearts of the mortals as they went to their homes and bars. It created a strong hunger in me that led me out of the sewer.

I stood on the corner of broadway and main and watched the young attournies stopping for a treat of the local prostitutes, on their way home to their wives. They were to be my feast tonight. I walked near the street and an young man soon hurried up in his fancy porche.

"Looking for a treat? I sure am" as I hoped into the car and leaned in. I started with a simple kiss as he handed me a wad of dirty cash. Then to his neck where I began to drink. The warmth flowed down my throat and my hunger began to disapear. I knew that goody goody angel would be around soon to save this poor cheat from his death but it was too late.

OOC:Hey cordie here's a vision for you

Cordelia

Coredelia smiles at Wesley, " Well I sure hope they keep coming... otherwise we would run out of business... ".

Angel walked into the room, his black trenchcoat flowing behind him as he walked, "How's business tonite? Anything new ? "

Cordelia turns to Angel... " Well busy night, Wesley and Gunn took care of a demon... and I had "fun" with all these books... seriously guys we should consider hiring a secretary. Im tired of all this paparework and books. Besides... " Cordelia stops talking, her body shakes violently... both Wesley and Angel know what happened... another vision...

Wesley

Wesley looks at Cordelia and nods his head knowing what she said was the truth.

Without demons there was no business - we sure need it.

thinking to myself - Cordelia has a point about hiring a secretary.

Then i notice Cordelia stop talking and start shaking , yes another vision. Cordelia " can you describe it to us".

Going to the bookshelf i find the book i require and place it in Cordelia's hands.

Cordelia , Gunn and myself will have another one to dispose of tonite *smiling*.

Cordelia

Cordelia stops shaking... breathing with difficulty, she looks up at Wesley and Angel...

" Looks like we have mayor trouble again guys... I know that face... how could I forget her... It was Darla, she is back... "

"Darla?!?" He shouted. "What's she up to? Did you see anything?" He jumped off the desk and started to pace. The feelings within him torn this way and that as everything they'd ever done came rushing back to him. All the kills, all the pain, and all the beds they'd shared.

Darla

I finished with the man and left him dead in his car. I began to wander down the street till I reached the hotel where I new Angel and his lttle posse worked.

I knew that they would not be happy to see me but I needed the help. An old slayer was after me and was not going to give in to one of them. Not after all the years I had avaoided being slain.

I peered throught the glass on the door and watched them.

Silently I entered and crept into the shadows with out being noticed by anyone.

Lindsey

As Lindsey crawled down the side of the building he say Darla peeriing into the room, watching the others. he smiled, it had been a long time since he had last seen Darla, maybe this was a good sign.

Buffy

The taxi finally pulled up to the old hotel, and Buffy got out. It had been a long drive, but the Sunnydale crew had been adamant that she not drive herself. She knew that her driving skills were far from perfect, but the ride had been long and boring.

All because of Darla. The stupid bitch had come to Sunnydale, looking to hunt Buffy down. But know, she was the hunted, and Buffy was the hunter, and Buffy was determined to finish off the vampire, once and for all.

Buffy saw a shadow against a window, and knew immediately that she had found what she came for. Willow had told her that, since Darla was headed for LA, she'd probably look for Angel, and she was right.

"Nice digs," she mused, and walked up to the door.

Not bothering with knocking, she simply kicked the door in and stood in the hallway, surveying the motley crew and trying to keep her emotions in check. It wasn't every day that you saw the love of your life.

The demon hunters stared at her questioningly.

"Hunting Darla," Buffy answered simply. "You might want to know that she's actually here, and there's some strange guy outside as well."

Darla

I watched as the slayer burst thrught the doors of the hotel. I shrunk further into the shadow where I had been hiding. I could smell the sweetness of her blood and craved to have a little taste. I could remember the way Spike had raved about the taste of the slayer back duing the boxer rebellion many years ago. I always had wanted a small sample.

I heard her give away my cover as I bolted for the door running smack dab into Lidsey. My vampiric form emerged but once I realized it was him I calmed down, picked him up and dragged him with me down the street.

I ran till I head nothing else behind me.

"lindsey, We must get away from her. I need help either you or angel will do. Is there somewhere safe to go, the sun is coming up soon. I can smell it"

Lindsey

Lindsey tried to move out of the way, but Darla came crashing into him. she snarled and nearly leped before she recognized him. he thought i was safe again, but she picked him up over his shoulder. "oh well, serves me right for getting so close to her" he though.

"a place to go? well, my apartment is just down the street, you can stay there. i'll pull the blinds. what do you need my help with?"

(help me out people if Lindsey doesn't live in an apartment i'll edit this)

Cordelia

Oh great, here we go again, as usuall just the mention of Darla´s name was enough to make Angel go crazy! I thought we would never see her again, last I heard was she was heading to Sunnydale to kill certain blondslayer... well... no point in complaining , we would have to solve this... one way or another...

Just then the door flew open and there standing on the other side.... Buffy...

"Hunting Darla," Buffy answered simply. "You might want to know that she's actually here, and there's some strange guy outside as well."

Cordelia stands up, her eyes on Buffy " We already knew she was here.. or at least we knew she was here in town... so I must assume her plan of kikking you did not go as well as she would have wanted?

Buffy

"Gee, Cordy, it's nice to know you've grown since your high school days. Even the visions can't hinder your bitchy attitude, can they?" Buffy asked rhetorically.

She remained in the doorway, surveying the scene. Cordelia was holding her head, as if she'd just had a migraine ('Or a vision...' Buffy thought). Wesley and some guy who had to be Gunn were standing around her, looking concerned, and Angel looked to be frozen in shock, staring in her direction.

She tried to stop the butterflies in her stomach and remain calm.

"Since I'm here, I'd say it'd be fairly safe to assume that Darla's plan did not work. After all, she's tried to kill me...how many times already? Three, four? Help me out here, Angel - you were there for most of them, after all," Buffy said, attempting to get her ex-lover to say something.

He remained silent, so she continued.

"You know, I thought you guys might like some help. I am the only free slayer at the moment, and I know things that you guys don't know, just as you know things that I don't know. I thought we could establish some kind of working relationship. But, as usual, Cordy has managed to ruin that. So I guess I'll be seeing you guys in never," Buffy finished.

She stared at the scene before her one last time, then turned to leave, hoping desperately that someone would stop her.

Wesley

Being concerned about Cordelia after her vision and hearing Buffy's voice - it had been awhile .

I looked up and listened to what she was saying.

As Buffy was starting to walk away i stepped forward and said " Buffy i know theres been differences but stay for awhile"

At least lets all try to talk and work together. i think the sooner Darla is gone from the picture altogether the better for all concerned.

Stepping back and sitting down i start to wonder about what will be alls reaction to what i said.

He regained his self control, and then answered everyone at once. "Buffy, as many times as she's tried she's never stopped us. Cordie, can you tell us anything else about what she's up to?? Wesley, other than being after Buffy, what might Darla be up to??"

He paced around the office, trying to collect his thoughts and fight off his desire to take Buffy in his arms. Or for that matter find Darla and do the same to her.

Buffy

Buffy stopped at Wesley's words, and slowly turned around.

'At least someone wants me here...just not the someone I want,' she thought.

She stood in the doorway, in the same position she'd been in for the past few minutes, and looked at them, all in the same position. It felt so strange, seeing people that she'd known in a totally different environment. One that she didn't belong in.

Then he spoke. Hearing him talk about their brief few years together, when she was still in high school, filled her with a rush of nostalgia. If only she could be taken back to that time - when everything was so simple. When she only had one true love.

She took a deep breath, and finally walked into the hotel, ready to start working.

Wesley

Scanning the room for alls response i wasnt surprised by Angel's response. Seeing him pacing the floor didnt make me feel at ease.

Looking at Buffy i wasnt sure what she had thought of my words that had been spoken.

Seeing Buffy step forward further into the hotel i put a chair near her and said " pls sit down."

Walking to the bookshelf to find a book i needed, i turned and said " has anyone else been around Cordy". I was extremely puzzled and disturbed the book i needed wasnt here.

Angel in response to your question on Darla i can do a little checking through some channels available to me , i will go alone though.

I start to pace up and down the room and start thinking about Fred, then where and what Darla is up to at this point in time.

Walking towards the door and leaving i say i will be back in a little while , have to visit someone.

Cordelia

" Well, knowing Darla whatever she is up to is no good... and I do think It will be better if we work together in this one Buffy, after all how long since we were a team... back in old Sunnydale?".

Cordela smiles at Buffy... Wesley leaves the room saying he will be back soon...

" Cordelia turns to Angel and Buffy " So, where are we starting... any ideas?"

"Well, I think we should probably start with the sewers. Darla might not be down there but there's bound to be someone who'll know something." He opened a cabinet that was full of weapons and selected a sword and a long bowie knife. He slipped both into scabbards that fit nicely under his trenchcoat as he again slipped it on.

"Everyone gear up, it could be a very long night."

Cordelia

Cordelia jumps with excitement! " Yes! at last some action.. Im tired of sitting here surrounded with books... lets go! "

Cordelia grabs a crossbow from the cabinet and her blue long coat, checked her makeup in a mirror... her hair... great everything perfect... she turns towards Angel...

" Lets go Boss ".

Wesley

Leaving the hotel and walking towards the darkest parts of town .

Not having Gunn around i think maybe not the best thing to do, but being pretty quick and good aim i trust myself.

Entering a darkened alley i sense a demon's presence and knowing most of them they communicate. Quicker than lightening it attacks but evading it i attack back enough to destroy it.

Not what i came here for , i didnt want to kill , i needed information.

Walking back towards the hotel i think about all back there wondering what they are planning for Darla.

Entering the hotel i notice they are all heading out heavily armed.

Angel , Cordelia and Buffy if you are all going trust each other with all you have.

Darla isnt in the sewers, she has someone in hiding with her. Someone who probably works during the daytime.

Sitting down i start flicking through the one book i have at my disposal.

Looking up from the book i say "to take Darla its gonna take a lot of planning and cunningness on our part ." I have many a nights thought about killing her and want to have everything in place to do it once only with no mistakes.

Buffy

Buffy began to wonder whether Cordy's visions had given her multiple personalities as well, but didn't voice her thoughts. She was right; they had worked well together in Sunnydale, and there was nothing saying that they couldn't work like that again.

The chest full of weapons was open and at her disposal. However, Buffy had her trusty Mr. Pointy, and barely even glanced at the chest before turning to Angel and Cordelia.

"I'm ready," she said, slow and calm, her first words since her outburst minutes before.
