AnelizeDarkEyes

modest,

The links in her threads go to threads that are here in the BDSM forum. Your link goes to stories that are in the BDSM category. Slight difference.

yup

Well, like they said, it's only temporary and then they will be gone. Or you can put Anelize on ignore for the next day and you won't have to see them.

Your onslaught of illconceived nonsense is over?

Huh... 'cause it still looks like you littered the forum with useless threads to me.

You should have consolidated it all to one thread which could have been done with less time, a bit of planning, and some consideration for the readability fo the forum.

Was that really called for?

I haven't seen you volunteer one second of your time for this forum.

Maybe not called for, but alas I didnt wish her to be raped. Perhaps you would have agreed with that tactic instead.

This rampant thread posting, for whatever reason it was sanctioned with a sticky, is pretty foolish, counterproductive, and unnecessary. With some forethought one could have indexed soem of the threads here ina more useful, functional, and less obtrusive manner.

Oh well.

They are all off the first page and in a week they'll be buried way down the list. That was uncalled for MM. It helps us newbies to be able to find threads about specific topics that interest us and a little clutter for a short while ain't no big deal.

The readability and the doability of the much read library is looking great.

The onslaught of threads is over and done.

There were easier ways to do it, but no way to do it that would better organize it for the posters/readers. Also, in this manner, it will be easier to keep updated and current.

Thanks for you concern, mm.

However, there seems to be nothing left to complain about and we are looking at what mod options anelize can be given to prevent any further "problem."

As was suggested earlier on, putting anelize on ignore, cleaned up the forum for the posters quite nicely.

You people need to toughen up.

Regardless of what you think about the thread the whole project could have been done in one thread, with a perfectly functional index as the first post. Anelize could then edit that post to update and maintain currency.

Yeah, creating an index to help newbies is really foolish, unnecessary and counter productive.

I'm sure the additional two seconds you lost in skipping over these threads made a huge difference in your extremely busy day. For someone that has contributed nothing to the management of the forum, much less posted to it, you seem to have your panties in a real bunch over a few extra threads to skip over. Compared to the GB, this was like a fucking 2 inch tall speed bump.

Get a clue.

That is essentially what she did.

But she had to create the threads to link.

That was the maelstrom that was created, was creating the threads.

With certain moderator privileges that she does not have at this point, it would have been done more cleanly.

In any event, we did the best we could with the knowledge we had and it is done.

It took her many hours to create this and I see know need to go on about it unless you can tell us exactly how to do it better.

That might be good information to have for the future.

I am not sure what you mean about how to do this. She can't link to a post, so how would the index have been achieved other than by creating index threads?

For my two pence worth. I am pissed off by MMs comments. How dare anyone whine about someone who has taken on such an onerous task.

I think anyone willing to take on tasks like Librarian and Moderator deserve our wholehearted support and applause.

:rose: for AnelizeDarkEyes

:rose: for MissTaken

And I cannot find an icon for a rasberry to blow at MM so :( will have to do. But you really deserve a good whipping.

It was not that big a deal, especially to those of us who do frequent this forum. I only saw one person who regularly posts here, make any comment about this.

She did a job, an exceptional one and it is now over. Why does anyone need to be nasty and condescending to someone who volunteered her time to do a service to those who read here?

and may I add...

This could have been taken to PM instead of trying to embarrass this lady in a thread. Nothing was accomplished by this and it would have been much more appropriate to PM her or MissT with concerns or suggestions.

I'm the guilty one!

I did post and ask what the deal was as I didin't read her thread explaining it first.

When she told me it was only for a day or so and why she was doing it, I apologized.

AnelizeDarkEyes (as NemoAlia before her) took on this difficult task for the benefit of the forum.

AnelizeDarkEyes deserves our thanks, not tactless comments.

Personally, I found a simple "I'm sorry" to work very well.

No, it was not you, Zip. I missed your post apparently. But I am sure that whatever you said it was not even close to condescending or nasty.

No, Mouse, unfortunately, as others have explained it to you, it doesn't work that way. You can't create a hyperlink to a post. Period. You must link to a thread.

Yes, it was annoying for a few days. NemoAlia and I did our best to keep everyone informed about what I was doing and why. MissTaken and myself suggested that anyone troubled by the multiple threads put me on "ignore" while the work was underway. Presto-chango, the threads just disappeared before your very eyes!

Within 12 hours of my posting the last thread, they all had fallen off the first page. As time goes on, people will bump various threads, and they will fall further and further into the "basement."

So, Mouse, here's what I have to say to you. I have done a good job on the new Library, and intend to continue to do so. NemoAlia did an incredible job setting it up. If you care to contribute, please do so on the Library Suggestion thread (link to it from the Library), or PM me directly. You can always continue to attempt to bait me here in this open forum, but I guarantee you, I won't be biting.

In closing, I wish to thank everyone who has posted here for their support. You are all wonderful!

Snideness noted. I think its great you took the word of the obviously experienced forum folks but I am so powerful and wise that I managed to hyperlink to a post. All hail my superpowers.

Look, HERE is a cool old post by our defender PB Walker.

If you are really nice I will tell you how to wield such vast power because so many said it couldnt be done.

Ahhh, yes, time heals all wounds. There were/are still alot of options other than the 'just wait' approach. But, again, you would have to invoke some superpowers. Shoulda contacted Aquaman.

Actually, you should know that my posts are nto baiting you. I simply criticized ina direct manner. There was no game I sought to play.

Mostly I read this forum from time to time. Posting isnt much of an option because it seems far too jittery and weak for my taste.

Somebody needs...

...a spanking? Is this some sort of passive-aggressive SAM looking for abuse?

Anelize, you rock. I think you've done a great job.
