Andromeda Lost, OOC,

[Cosmic Knight]

Set in the year 2279, the interstellar transport shuttle Andromeda is inbound to Earth, with 4 crew members. They do a course correction burn 2 days out, but halfway through the burn, the engine dies totally, aalong with their Earth communiction system, possibly an explosion that blew away their antennae.

The onboard computer still functions, abut the news is bad. The engine is damaged beyond repair, and in 26 hours time, pulled in by the moons weak gravity, they will crash into the dark side.

The two men and two women on board then have decisons to make, regarding how they fill their final hours, leading to their eventual demise.

Bio for the Pilot:

Dale Lorkovski, of Russian/English extraction.
Age 36, 6 foot, brown hair and eyes, has worked as pilot for Cosmic Cargoes Consolidated, aka TripleC, for the past five years.
Dale is engaged to Svetlana, a co-pilot on another of the fleets cargo vessels.
No date has been set for the wedding yet, but Dale knows that Svetlana is becoming impatient.
Meanwhile, for his six months journey, Dale has had to suffice with porn movies in his quarters, adn his right hand. He cannot wait to get home, and to take his bride to be to bed, for at least a week he reckons.

And then the engine died, and communication with Earth was lost, forever.

Emma Bergvall, of Swedish nationality.
Age: 27, 5´6" foot, dark blond wavy hair and blue eyes. Signed on as Co-Pilot right before they set out on this six month journey. This is Emma's first real assignment as a Co-Pilot. She love the excitement of flying through space, but at the same time she is slightly nervous to fuck things up.

Looking forward to return to earth and her family. Her father died when she was a child but her mother and younger sister still live in Sweden. Emma love them dearly and count the hours until she see them again.

She had never imagined that she might never do that.

Freshly graduated from the Academy Daniel has been assigned to the Andromeda as a cargo co-ordinator
Not having any ties back home Daniel had to rely the whole trip on nothing but his imagination and of course checking out Emma Bergvall and Sheena Davies.
Being young Daniel also strives to be perfect in his job, sometimes he can be a real pain in the ass as he tries to prove himself capable in his job.

I would think that Daniel would start off being rather snappish with Sheena seeing that she is the engineer. Maybe they can get into a short fight and have it settled by a short scuffle that would have Sheena on top of Daniel.

Of course this fight could be the start of a closer relationship.

Other idea would be that Emma and Daniel gets into a heated argument, but hey those details could be sorted via PM or OOC I'd say.

Also I have been thinking that instead of crashing, Sheena gets an inspiration to reroute some systems and salvage parts and allow them to make a crash landing.

Just a couple of things here.
We are a well spread group, USA, UK, Sweden and South Africa, because of this posting may seem sporadic, or even erratic. As we all have commitments of one kind or another, I would ask for patience, and to check back here regularly.

As to the story itself, the crew are about to hear that they will soon probably all be dead, on the moon. This is not an excuse for an all out orgy LOL

What I mean is, each poster wil have fears about the future, will worry about their family, it is unlikely any of them will think about sex, until their mind is settled. We need to keep it realistic is what I am saying, anf not be hopping into bed by post #3.

Any ideas, or problems,please bring them to this thread
And please, no posts of just one or two sentences, go for a minimum of two paragraphs if you can.
