Android Lit App link: HELP!

Somehow, I switched Literotica on my Android from Mobile phone view to desktop view. (I think I manhandled it while the screen was on and pressed a "button".)

I used to be able to pull down the menu on the left side of the Home page, and there was an option for downloading the Mobile App. It is no longer there. How do I fix this?

FIX IS FOUND AT THIS POST LOWER IN THIS THREAD.

TiredFingers,

I don't work for Lit, but ......

At the bottom of the page
the first UPPERMOST possible link
that you can press is for

"STYLE CHOICE"

Press it & choose: "DEFAULT STYLE"

If that does or doesn't work
let me know.

Yes, that gives me the old style that I like, but it isn't the phone app style, it's just a different version of the desktop view.

Used to be, if you were on your phone and you went to the home page and pulled down the menu on the left, there was an option to download the Lit App. It wasn't so much an App like you would download from Playstore; it was more of an icon you put on your phone's homepage that -- when you tapped on it -- loaded Lit in the phone style rather than desktop style.

With the desktop style, the text window extends to the right off screen, forcing me to scroll to read each line of text. Bother.

Thanks for helping, though. Many people probably don't know about the style chooser at the bottom, so you likely helped others.

I know exactly what you were speaking of about the Lit app and my first move was to simply copy and paste that but it wasn't actionable, so the move is to get you out of the desktop box into mobile view. There you can grab the app or not as pleases you. Let me work a little harder since your obviously not off desktop mode yet.

No man left behind!
I'm stubborn so I'm sticking this out with you.

So, on the home page
(picture of a devil woman),
the first section is

labeled "Welcome."

Go to bottom of that section,
above a dark line.
Press link "New Lit Design"

It is for mobile style.

Tell me it works 🙏🏻

Did as you suggested and although it took me to the format I used to have and which I liked, the text, links, pics, etc., are all still small as if it is a desktop version.

I wonder if there isn't something that I did to my phone and that it wasn't Lit at all...? I remember that I was on the Lit page and I was walking from one room to the other with the screen on (not on sleep), and when I got to where I was going, it was like this.

Maybe there is a feature on my Galaxy S22 Ultra that I activated that is causing everything to be smaller? If so, it's only affecting Literotica, which is the reason why I thought it was Lit, not my phone.

But wait, hold on: I am still missing the pulldown menu that used to feature the "Lit App" option, so no, I don't think it's my phone.

God, I hate this! I love Lit, but I just can't use it like this! grrrrrrrrrrrr

I fixed it. Don't ask me what I did that caused this whole problem, but I found a fix:
  • I knew that when the issue began, I was on a web page and carrying my phone around in my hand with the screen on.
  • My initial assumption had been that I'd somehow changed a setting by inadvertently touching the screen with my hand/fingers.
  • Going with that assumption:
    • I returned to the search page (on my Android phone; thought I should remind you of the device).
    • I clicked on the menu button -- the 3 lines parallel lines icon, sometimes called the collapsed menu button or hamburger icon.
    • I clicked on Settings.
    • I clicked on accessibility.
    • Under "Default zoom" (for which the definition is "Make text and images larger or smaller for all sites you visit), I increased the setting to 200%.
  • When I went to Literotica, suddenly not only was the font larger without stretching off the page out of sight to the right, but the 3-line "hamburger" menu button at the top left had returned, as had the option to download the Lit App onto my phone.
I really have no idea whether all of this fixed the issue or whether Lit updated something or aliens decided I already had too fucked up a life to deal with this while scrolling for pics of naked women. I only know that once again, the world just seems right again.

Thanks for the help everyone.
