Still in planning stages.

Bureaucracy
The party supports instituting 18-year term limits for members of Congress.[10] It also seeks to establish a new cabinet-level Department of Technology. The party supports civic juries and advocates for a "citizens' portal".[15]

Civil rights
The Forward Party supports data as a property right.[15]

Economic issues
The Forward Party calls for an economy based on "human-centered capitalism" and the enactment of universal basic income.[7] The party supports alternative forms of measuring economic progress.[15] Additionally, the Forward Party supports automatic tax filing.[16] The party also supports "reasonable and rational" regulation of cryptocurrencies.[17]

Health care
The Forward Party supports the implementation of a universal health care system.[18]

Voting and electoral reform
The party seeks to adopt open primaries and implement ranked-choice voting.[7] The party also supports independent redistricting commissions and public finance reform in the form of democracy dollars.[15]

Is this something with any potential? And, can it be anything more than a personal vehicle for Yang, like the Reform Party was for Perot?

The "establishment" won't kill it. They'll ignore it, with more serious challenges to work on. Unless it can get some recognizable political forces involved it isn't going anywhere off the launching pad. Who, beyond Yang, a political outsider, is working with this? New client for Kellyanne, maybe? She doesn't particularly care who/what she works for.
