And you thought it just caused blindness

Well, let me tell you . . . ummm, what was I going to say?

And all this time, I thought I was burned out

I knew my eyes were bad, I blamed that on my lack of sexual self control. But I thought that my memory lost was caused by lack of drug self control.

I guess I should become a self-control freak and live longer and remember every stinking miserable minute of it.

You know that kind of shit depresses me, that makes me want to smoke another one.
Now I will have to work on my job self control, I have to do two 75 vette seats today.

Oh well, I admit I have weaknesses, but I will get to work soon as I finish this one.

My manners are working fine though, I'm willing to share, Yall drop by and I'll get you high, if you can get here before I forget you.

Damn, now I starving, I need to work on my food self control, but I hungry now. Lets eat and we'll get on those seats after lunch.

Its a good thing that I'm self employed.

I wouldn't take this too seriously. It's probably true on some level, but then everything kills you. Eating kills you, drinking kills you, breathing kills you. You could stop living completely, but then that kind of defeats the point.

I'm going to carry on with the porn. If my memory wavers occasionally, so be it.

Ah! So this explains why, when a wife or girlfriend asks her guy, "Do you watch internet porn?" he so innocently responds, "Of course not, baby..."

He simply can't remember doing so. ;)

Doesn't it also grow hair on the palms of your hands? :D I used to know, but I seem to have forgotten.

First off, there is no such thing as memory, there's only recognition; the brain is pre-wired to sense some things and not others. Familiarity strengthens the sensitivity to specific stimuli. Pain is a good example of what I mean, each event is novel. What we call memories are really echoes of the original experience.

Second, in a perfect world our brains are supposed to obsess about sexual arousal, threats, and food.

That's a dumb thing to say. Do you remember thjings such as telephone numbers etc.?
