Go Giants
The Yankees were outplayed by the Angels, a team with more heart. Mike Sciosca did an amazing job with a team that was atrocious last year. COngratulations to him and the entire team.
Jeter can cry his little eyes out and be the smug little twit he is while someone more deserving plays into late October.
I find very few baseball people give a fuck about the Yankees. Its an uncharismatic, passionless team.
I hope the Braves go down next because they ruin every World Series and give me no reason whatsoever to root for them.

WTF???? Spend a week in NYC in DECEMBER and you'll find the we have more passion for the Yankees at that time of the year than most teams get during the baseball season.
And Jeter's going home and polish his many W.S. rings. If the Giants lose to the Braves, can they say the same. Hardly.

Yankees passionless?
Let me start out by saying I am happy the Yankees lost. The Angels are about a scrappy as a team can be, and they have the Rally Monkey... it doesn't get any better than that.
As for the Braves and Yankees being passionless, I have to take exception. They are professionals, not passionless. Both teams are managed by guys that expect their players to come out and play every day... no hot shots or prima donnas need apply.
That being said, I hope the A's get to the Series and every one of them calls Giambi and asks him where he would rather be.
Just the views of a continually disappointed Cubs fan.
