Submit your nominations.

It looks like a late 1800s drawing of a model in an S-corset. I wonder what her name was.

"Names don't matter. That's why they are so hard to choose, of course." - Reginald Perrin

I don't have any suggestions, but I came across that the other day and needed an appropriate place to share it with other writers.

And Aubrey was her name, a not so very ordinary girl or name.

Hello, Darkness, my old friend

I've come to talk with you again

If you're going to do song lyrics, try Patti Smith's version of Gloria.

And I said darling, tell me your name, she told me her name
She whispered to me, she told me her name
And her name is, and her name is
And her name is, and her name is

G-L-O-R-I-
G-L-O-R-I-A (Gloria)
G-L-O-R-I-A (Gloria)
G-L-O-R-I-A (Gloria)
G-L-O-R-I-A (Gloria)

etc. Original version I think was by Van Morrison and this band Them in 1964.

I always just assumed it was Laurel. Or perhaps Manu.
Definitely Laurel, as is the woman on Lit’s ads on other porn sites. From the icy glare in her eye you can tell it was taken just after declaring, “If I have to read one more goddam I/T story today I’m going to kill someone!”

How about adding a syllable and a vowel and making it a bit more musical, like "Loralei."

She actually looks a lot like the girls on our neighbor's pickup truck's mudflaps. He lived on a farm near my parents' 40-acre horse farm. They faced each other and were shiny crome on black rubber.
