Seriously it's like one of the greatest science/history documentaries ever made...it's not like some cheap ass movie, it's got SEASONS behind it. That's a lot of unexplained evidence presented.

Both sides are biased to make a point as is anyone really. My problem with Ancient Aliens isn't the idea of aliens or even ancient visitation its the fact these idiots can't tell their asses from their elbows. I am really into mythology and ancient culture. I am by no means an expert and yes there are similarities and quite possibly direct influences or connections. Where I draw the line is when it was said that Zeus and Thor were not only aliens but in fact the same alien.

I've found many similar myths and ideas between Greek and Norse and if anything Zeus as a lot more in common with Odin than Thor. The whole lightning thing is weak. Both Zeus and Odin have special horses that fly. Zeus has Pegasus and Odin has Sleipnir. Both horses were born by gods as well. Seems there's a version of the story of Pegasus where Poseidon is the father. As for Sleipnir that was Loki's doing. Both are rulers who defeated giants. Cronos and Ymir Even Gungnir I think is a better comparison to Zeus's thunderbolt than Mjolnir is.

I didnt see that comparison, they just reference mythical gods and the great powers they had. Where did these myths come from and what were they based on....they say, Aliens!

Have none of you heard of Occam's razor? Why is it easier to assume that aliens would come here to make a bunch of stone buildings and then leave? Why the fuck would they care if people in Peru make giant monkey pictures on the ground?

You're using a broad interpretation of pyramid, but that's Okay. It's one solution to to the universal question- "What do we do with our dead?" My understanding is that both Egyptian and Central American pyramids have bodies within or beneath them

There have been a lot of general solutions -
Underground burial
Sky burial ( used by nomads like the Mongols and western north american natives )
Pyre
Above ground burial.

Pyramids are the evolutionary apex of above ground burial. I suppose it usually starts with a chief or king buried below ground in prime real estate . Then you bury his warriors or family members nearby as they die so they can be with him in the afterlife. When you run out of space, you start another tier of bodies and carry topsoil to cover them. It results in Missisippi civilization style burial mounds.

A construction style/ religious tradition is established. But suppose you don't have the limitless topsoil of the Missisippi valley and use boulders instead? If you are stacking ( without mortar )any material that isn't brick or stone blocks it becomes unstable as it gets higher and heavier. The solution is to reduce your stones by one and move them in from the edge every few layers or less. The pile narrows as it goes up, but it's more stable. A pyramid shape is the natural evolution of piling upon a square base. Think of those pyramids of cast iron cannon balls sitting beside the guns. It's about practical limitations of construction materials.
Presumably interplanetry aliens could build skyscrapers. Why didn't they teach the ancients how to make concrete?


Maybe you're not convinced. You see too much similarity . I would ask, why are there so many buildings and rooms based upon squares and rectangles all over the world? Why not hexes like bees use, or igloo shapes?

That's just it, they typically don't find bodies underneath the pyramids. They are buildings used for something else. Its too much of a coincidence that every major civilization not only built pyramids but used similar styles, and were experts in math and astrology. I just pulled my photos from Chitzen itza and I was lucky enough to watch the sun form a snake down the pyramid, this happens only twice a year....

I like the show. It scares me sometimes though...I wonder....has there been aliens on earth?...Did they influence people like Da'vinchi or plato?...HOW did they build the pyramids?...Am I visited?...Am I a desendent of one?... All these questions are 'answered' on the show. It still blows my mind though, you know?

but the stone blocks weighed sometimes several tons and are carved to perfection. Stone tools just can't do that kind of job.....just saying

I'm watching it now on youtube, on the Nazca Lines, he doesnt explain yet, how they draw a massive spider from the ground. You can debunk some of the information on the show, some of is easy, in fact most is a stretch, but some you just cant explain....
