No, deleting would mess up post counts and a bunch of other stuff. Generally, people just stick to replying to threads on the first few pages of How To since it's a slower moving forum (than say the GB, PG, or AmPics). If I want information or experiences on a specific topic, I'll read The Blank Manual threads (they're usually the best and most informative) and do a search, but I don't reply to threads that have been inactive for a long period of time.
