I want to learn about anal sex. I want to know more about lubricants, especially ones that can mask the smell, also ones that can enhance pleasure. I am very disappointed that I was not able to find the information I was looking for on the internet and hope to find out more on this website.

I've been into anal sex practices as long as I've been sexually active. I don't know of any lubricant that will "mask the smell" nor have I found that there were any particularly offensive smells associated with anal sex. If you exercise a reasonable of cleanliness and hygiene, practice a diet that will encourage complete voiding of the bowels, and even (if you can get into it) take an enema before expected anal sex it's cleaner still.

Over the years, and even though I learned most of what I know by experimentation and experience, I have of course been curious about knowledge regarding the practice and have bought many references in that regard. The best I've found is this book.

Anal Pleasure and Health: A Guide for Men, Women and Couples

If you mix some peppermint oil (10 drops or so) in the lube, it will completely mask the smell.
Totally minty butt.

I would advice againt lubes that "enhance" the pleasure. Any lube with arginine, heating sensation, cold, etc will most likely feel extremely uncomfortable to the person being penetrated.
I believe there are quite a lot of scented anal lubes, a quick visit to your local sex shop may be useful.

There are dozens upon dozens of warming lubricants specifically for anal use and many more for general sexual use. Just Google "Warming anal lubricant".

I have used many of them, as the receptive partner, and have never had any discomfort. We have extensively used both KY Warming Jelly as well as Warming Liquid (combined they are great) for anal lube. We also use KY Yours+Mine for both vaginal and anal lubrication.

Doesn’t that sting?

Yep. I think it probably would and I think the "advice" was posted maliciously.
Of course, since the OP hasn't returned to comment on the thread the post would seem to have been a troll.

I'd like tips too! I heard that you can put coconut oil in ice cube trays and pop it in when you want to

Start slow and use lots of lube! Start with a finger, then perhaps two then try a cock. Another option is to purchase some anal beads and try them out first.

And be prepared for, er, squelchy sounds afterwards!

Good advice. I bought a dildo so I could practice first by myself. It does take a little getting used to but once you are accustomed to it, it’s great. My girlfriend has a large cock and she can fuck me without any problems.
