I'm really late getting in on this thread but I just had to put my two cents in.
I'm sorry but too many of you people have intimacy all wrong. FAR and away more deep than the trust given to another in any sex act that can be concieved of, is the REAL trust required when you give all of you HEART to someone you love.
To trust someone so entirely that you become willing to lay your SOUL bare for them -- NOTHING compares
Sex is sex, but only love contains true intimacy. And sex WITH true intimacy is INCREDIBLE.
