Oh, forgot to mention why I recommend metal over silicone.
Silicone will absorb stuff if left in your ass for long, and it can start smelling a little bit. Plus, it's much harder to care for - you basically want to clean it with antibacterial toy cleaner after each use. And you will have to be mindful of where you put it because it will attract any dirt and little hairs and stuff like a magnet.

Metal is non-reactive. Wash it with soap and put it away wherever. It'll never smell and never get dirty.
