Ok, I know this is gonna sound pretty juvenile, but I will ask anyways. My girlfreind and I recently began experimenting with anal play. We have talked about it and are both curious, yet we seem to be still hung up a bit. I know she has tried it before, with dissapointing results, and I am being slow and understanding. I realize this past experience is part of the hang up.

Another issue we have is the "cleanliness" issue. Honestly, we are kinda unsure how things will come out. To be blunt, I am curious to know if there will be any "dirt" involved. Sorry to be use language like that, but I am being serious and looking for a serious replies. I know she is sensitive about being seen as dirty, and I want to alieviate that.

One other question I have. I have heard that it is bad to get the anal bacteria into the vagina, ( ie that's why girls wipe front to back) and I want to know if I should clean up before switching from back to front?

Any hints or info is much abiliged.

I'm not sure if you are asking about how to deal with your girlfriend's past issues or not. Actually, only she can do that, with a lot of understanding from you. I know I had several bad anal experiences before meeting up with a man who actually knew what he was doing. After experiencing the kind of pain that an inexperienced man can cause, it can be a difficult hurdle to overcome. But not impossible - provided you go slow, have patience, and listen to her.

Dealing with a messy rectum is something that most people find unappealing. I love anal sex, yet even I will pass if I believe there is even the remotest chance that things won't turn out "clean". Most of the time, your girlfriend will find anal sex is more comfortable in that regard after having a bowel movement and a shower. Another method is to use an enigma, which will expel everything from the rectum. I've never gone the enigma route, but have heard that you should only introduce water into the rectum a max of 3 times at about 30 seconds each time. If your girlfriend opts for this, it might be something she wishes to do in private.

Your last issue is correct. A man should NEVER take his penis from the anus into the vagina. This can cause a nasty infection. When removing the penis from the anus, a man should clean himself thoroughly before resuming play.
