Do you think anal fisting is safe?

Generally speaking does that area of the body "recover" from an anal fisting session? Is it the same for a man and woman?

I have seen large gaping holes stretched pretty far at private BDSM clubs here in the UK.

It took me a long time, years to work up to being able to be safely fisted. I need to be probed with some sort of dildo for a bit first. KY or some other water soluble lube should be used and lots of it. Long cuff gloves make things smoother and safer. I have had no health issues from fisting at all. In fact, the last time I was fisted, I was pegged with a 10 inch dildo the next day. I do kegels when I drive. I can say, that fisting has been the most arousing and intimate thing that I have ever done.
