An Open Heart (closed)

She was greatful for what he and his family did, once they finished she felt different maybe because she knew she was with child now. She kept thinking of the mother that made this possible. She would mother a new race but grew afraid because she didn't want her child to be a vitium of hate. When she woke up the next morning she was sitting on the window seat.

"Morning daughteer." Kitta said, leaning forward in her seat in the corner, where she sat, watching over her new daughter. "How do you feeel? Comfortable, I hope. Not too sore?" They were alone, the men off working. "Would you like anytheeng to eet or dreenk?" She asked, setting her yarn crafts aside.

She was not startled when she heard her voice. She looked over and smiled, seeing her new mother she was content, happy in that moment now she was pregnant, she walked over to her new mother and sat down before her." I will drink and eat whatever is best for the baby I'm just worried I do not regret anything last night and I am happy I am with child now I'm just afraid that she will grow up hated feared because of ignorance but I'm hoping that your son and myself might be able to change minds while the child within myself grows, I want the baby to have whatever future it can have you know to have friends to grow up to know love to children of their own."

Kitta placed her hands gently on Mary as she sat before her and smiled lovingly. "Nourishment ees a peersonal thing, theer are a hand of foods you should eet, but mostly.... just leeseen to your body. Eet knows what eet needs." She listened to Mary's concerns and nodded. "Veery leetle my peeople can do to change thees hate and feeer... but you, ah, you have thee great motheer witheen you. Your voice weel be heerd. Change is slow, but it weel come. I can feeel eet."

"Now, for thee baby in your womb... cheeldreen can be crueel but weeth your love and ours, wee weel raise a loving, strong son or Daughteer weeth you. I hope eet ees a daughteer... so that wee can conteenue the coveen of thee great motheer for another geeneration. One day, you weel be the eldeer and pass what you know on to your Daughteers, yes?" Kitta asked, stroking Mary's cheek affectionately.

There was a knock at the door and Kitta looked scared. "Go down to thee coveen room... now!" She ordered Mary in a whisper as she got up, waving for her to go. She shuffled over to the door, acting older and less able than she was. "Coming, one moment..." She called out before looking back at Mary, shooing her off again.

She liked having these conversations with her new mother. It was just showing what kind of woman her new mother in law was going to be it was nice to know that she cared so much it was refreshing, it had been a very long time, actually, since she felt the love of a mother, she just hoped that she would have a good relationship with her father in law as well since without the father the new creation of life was totally impossible, but she had a feeling they would not treat her like she was not her blood and their eyes, she was their blood, rather she was human or what they were, it was a very nice way to feel. She knew she belonged and it was beautiful and would always treasure such things. as she spoke with her mother thing started to fly in her head as she began to wonder what the future would bring for her, she would always enjoy what the future would bring, rather it be good or bad, because in the end there would be some kind of serene end in one way or another. At least she hoped so.

As she was listening to what her mother was saying to her about food, she began to rub her stomach because she was getting really hungry, she wasn't too sure what they knew what to make, though she didn't know what they ate all that well because she never cooked for their son. She had never cooked for anybody in that species before because she had never had dinner with them before, but before that she had a chance to really go on about what to eat or drink she heard the knock on her door and looked at the fear under mother's face and didn't know who the hell this could possibly be, so when she was told to go down into the cover she just nodded to her, she turned her head and smiled at her mother.

"It will be okay mom" she whispered to her before she vanished but stayed close in case she would be in danger.

Kitta spent several minutes at the door with a human guard. He was asking about a young woman from the human district that was last seen entering the monsters district and has since seemed to have disappeared. He tried peeking in, suspicious, but Kitta blocked his view, saying she had not seen any such girl and that he aught to take a look around if he didn't believe her, stalling him just long enough for Mary to hide in the basement coven chamber.

She let him in and he spent many minutes looking around, but ultimately found nothing. "Hrmph... rumor has it that the girl came here with a young satyr, your son, one... Pirin of Whitestone... do him a favor and tell him we're looking for him. We have a few questions for the boy... it would be best if he were to come to the guard house of his own will.... if we were to find him... one might think he was trying to hide something... "

Mary was not happy by what she was hearing, she grew rather angry and it took everything back inside her to not do anything or say anything, because she did not want her new mother to get in trouble for anything. Sure silently sighed and shook her head, why couldn't these people just leave them be. They were not doing anything illegal, amazing how people were and it was always humans that made people like Mary look bad thankfully she had nothing to prove. She was angry but she came out only when given the all clear. She came out to her mother and looked at him.

"What do they want Putin for mom?" She asked worried
