THIS page looks Chinese to me, but at the end it has my thread from this PF&D board. The thread was about my poem. I liked that poem (sure :)) but I had some doubts about its English. It was nice to see the wise Karma Dog in that thread, and it was not so nice to see the not so nice and totally stupid and full of himself "Unmasked Poet", and it was nice to see some other Literoticians there. Anyway, each of our entries is prepended by a string of Chinese characters. And some isolated Chinese ideograms have replaced the first letters of some words. Can you tell what's going on?

The mentioned Chinese (?) page does not distinguish between the quoted text and the proper text of an entry.

Hi senna :)

I have seen that also. There are a LOT of places that have bits and pieces of the archived threads. Google MAria2394 and you can find many of them. I Was looking for some old stories and they came up with a car site I believe.

The internet becomes more of a wonderment to me everyday, how things come about...

~~~
This link bring sup a Hello KItty site, VERY colorful, with a poem by FireCHild leading off...
Just a note: SpySweeper blocked this site for me, indicating that it is associated with spyware, so it may not be the safest place in the world to surf.
Brrrr... Thank you Tzara for telling me (and others :)). I hope that they don't attack Mac.
It has occurred to me that they may have bad intentions. Now I understand why they have odd bits and pieces on their page. This way their link is provided by google searches and google alerts for various reasons, and that's what they want. I went there because of the word kenning.
No expert, m'dear, but it's pretty straightforward. Whenever you display a page from the Internet, the code that drives it, as well as all of the images that are displayed, are downloaded to your computer. If you go and look through your browser cache, you'll see all the components there. If you want to make a permanent copy of them, you can simply copy an element out of the cache to somewhere else on your system.
I presume what happened was that the site in question was looking to lift content and simply grabbed everything at Literotica, saved it to their own servers, and put it up like it was their own. I doubt they were looking specifically for the thread in question.
Possibly the particular thread was selected because of the appearance of word "Chinese" in that thread. I don't know.
I've seen this alot. East asian sites selling ringtones and phone graphics, and they want people using Google to stumble into it by mistake. So they lift random content from sites and put it as searchable text. That way it looks normal in the Google search result page.
They were a little sloppy about it though. Usually those stolen text blocks are in the bottom as white text on white background.
