Hey there folks!
I've been interested in posting some of my illustrations to the Art portion of this site, but thus far have not gotten a response. So, I thought I'd post one of my pencil sketches here.

Now, if this should have been posted in a different forum, I apologize - the only other one that seemed appropriate is Amateur Pic Feedback, but that seems mostly concerned with photos.

Anyway, any feed back would be appreciated.

good post, i've been wondering if that ever occured around here, as i will someday post some of mine.

that is good work, is it off the top of your head, or did it originate somewhere else, just curious??:)

Very nice....

I know there is a section in Lit where people post art work, I haven't looked over it in months though. It's not in the forums, but around the stories....

It is quite good but it is a little difficult to examine all the details.

What medium is it?

I love it! Beautiful drawing....oh how I wish I could draw! I took three years of art classes and still cannot draw :(. I guess it takes talent...which I was apparently was born without. I have talents in other areas though. You are very talented :).

*laughs at Mistress* You are such a turkey shit. LOL

Nice drawing though.

nice work

same thing happened to me .. I sent in a bunch of drawings and never heard anything. oh well.

maybe we should start another artwork thread .. Myst?? :)

Wow, responses come pretty fast around here!

Hey, folks, I appreciate all the positive feedback. I will definitely be posting more.

As to how it was done and subject matter, it is a quick pencil sketch of a character that appears in the card game Magic: the Gathering, called a Desolation Angel. The actual drawing was done with no reference for the actual pose, however, just done while hanging around in the lunch room at work.

Again, I must say I am quite pleased with the quick and positive response to this picture

Its an interesting sketch.

It is somewhat difficult to make it out though, the contrast does not translate well.

Perhaps tweak the scanner settings to bring out the contrast, and even make it larger.

Look forward to seeing more.
