If you've read this on the general forum, I'm sorry for repeating myself.
The last story I posted, Patty's Big Problem, http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=174577
didn't have a very satisfying ending, so I wrote Patty's Big Problem Solved
http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=174910
and arranged to have it posted the day after the first part. I included a public comment at the end of the first story advising readers of what was coming.
The interesting thing is, Solved is getting about a third the hits Big Problem got, and the vote score is higher (that should be obvious, only folks who liked the first story would read the second one).
It probably means only a third or so of the readers of the first part were interested enough in reading it to its end -- some fraction of the openings of the second part were random, of course.
Anyhow, if you're going to post a story soon, try breaking it into two parts and posting them the same day. You may get a measure of how many readers actually read the entire story. Should I post any more I'll do it too. I'd be interested in your results.
For the record,
Patty's Big Problem, A little soft sex is neither little nor soft.
4.46 35 10068
Patty's Big Problem Solved The conclusion of her story.
4.62 26 3773
These have been up for a bit less than a month, so they're probably not going to move too much. (Pretty bad readership, huh? I've lost my touch!)
