The name says about as much as I could want for it to. I just wanted someplace to have available to meet and chat. That is all. Feel free to stop in and converse.

He walks over to a bench in the park and sits quietly. He pulls out a worn, dog-eared copy of selected poems by T.S. Eliot and begins to read. Smiling to himself and enjoying the crisp breeze in the summer night.

I could use a little summer on a cold night like tonight. And a little company. Got room on that bench for an old friend, Gage?

For an old friend, I have many things. Space on the bench, space on my lap... my undying affection...

Wonderful to see you, gorgeous. Take a seat.

Tucks the Eliot away and looks up into Honey's gorgeous eyes, letting a little grin touch his face.

Wandering, perhaps lost as always, I have found a place with a bench and old freinds... Perhaps I shall watch from the shadows for a time as time washes by. Perhaps.. I shall wait here, perhaps I will venture forward when this night has past and I have lungs for speach and eyes for widening and not for sleeping. Perhaps... a new dawn is brewing in the east...

Raises an eyebrow at the cluster of dark trees near the bench on the opposite side of the path. His keen eyes squint slightly.

S'that you, Swash? Lurk less, greet more.

He smiles and waves towards the benches in the pavilion of the park where they are.

Take a seat, have a beer! There are more than a few in that cooler over by the end of the bench.

Thank you Gage, I apreciate the offer, but this traveler of time and space is at the end of long road this day and me thinks me should pass on the beer and pass over and rest under the shadey trees with the spirits of passed heros.

This night has led my aimless feet to a place of comfort, and for that I am grateful. For must now, batten donw the hatches and find some sleep and se what the morrow brigns.

Good night, my freinds. It is good seeing you both once more. IT has been too long. But this night is too late.

Understood and agreed, Swash. I shall make an attempt to get here more often. I always enjoy a night reading in the park. Maybe I shall make this more available than just tonight. Glad your trip got you home safe. Sleep well, friend.

Back again

He looks around oddly as he finds this place he had made to speak with his friends. It seems alone now. The trees less alive. The benches closer to decay. He raises a silent eyebrow and closes his eyes, feels his will form things as they were long ago. This place shall not die just yet.

When he opens his eyes, the bench is newly painted, but dry. The trees speak through the air. A soft smile touches his face and he sits down, enjoying the silence for a moment, before passing on again. Soon to return.
