Tara was shocked at what she had heard no this could not be true... the elders sent her here on very dangerous terms... ''You know why that bartender looked at you like you were insane.. he can't see me noone can I am a angel.. I was sent to save you I wasn't sure why at the time... nor does it makes sense now.. but now I understand why we can never be together'' She said ushering him into the diner

"Damn, sorry about that Tara, it just seems so unfair that I have to be judged by what I am on the outside, not what I am on the inside. Yah, that makes sense why the Bartender couldn't see you, but still why did they send you down to save me, as far as I know, I don't need any saving, or do I?" He smiled at her as they went into the diner, and he held her chair out for her.

Tara was confused... and it was a first for her... first thing in the morning she had to go and see the elders and find out just why she was sent to him... ''Its okay'' She said and sat down

He looked at her as they ordered their meal. "So do you have anyplace to stay tonight, I have a comfortable bed, while I sleep on the couch of course." He blushed at that, but smiled still the same.

''Yes I am staying well.. I stay anywhere I like noone can see me remember... besides I have to see the elders in the morning''

"Yah that's right. Well you can stay at my place tonight at least, it the least I can do. Don't worry, I won't attack you or anything like that." He grinned and part of his birthright showed with the next sentence. "I don't bite, I might nibble a bit, but no biting, unless you want me to that is."

Tara smiled... ''Okay...I don't see why not'' She said softly and slightly gasped at his teeth... but then herself too.. knew what it was like to have side effects... the occasional wing apperance... the occasional change of eye color

He smiled at her and finished up his meal. "We can go when your ready Tara." He smiled and thought about life and how it's throwing itself in his path again, and how he was going to get the short end of the stick again and shook his head in sad realization.

Chambrose smiled and offered her his arm as they walked out of the diner after he paid for their meal. He just ignored the waitress wondering about how he ate two meals without anyone noticing. "You know, that's going to get annoying with us both eating, but only one of us being seen." He grinned and laughed at that.
