I agree with Chicklet vis-a-vis the blackmail angle. I like the idea of the grandson finding the dungeon that Grandpa built. Grandma can catch him down there, but instead of his running off he asks her what the dungeon was for. Grandma and Grandpa were into the bondage scene back in the Nixon era.
