An Academy Award well deserved....

....I have to say this because I just noticed today.

I always complain about Halle Berry's Academy Award because a.) I don't like her
b.) I didn't like 'Monsters Ball'
c.) I think she only got it because she is black and she had an century-long sex-scene with Billy Bob Thornton.

But today I watched 'Monster' and I have to say it's the complete opposite.

Superb movie, very touching, well made and fantastic acting by all actors.

But Charlize was just grand. Acting at its best. I have no doubt this is a lady that will become a famous actor, not only for her beauty and looks but for her performances.

I know some people could say now she only got the Oscar because she had the courage to be totally ugly in it but I disagree. Very powerful performance. She deserves it.

Takes this Halle, you better get used to Golden Razzies for Catwoman.

Snoop: Absolutely second that. Brilliant actress and a fantastic bit of casting too.

Just after the film premiered in England, there was a documentary about Aileen Wuormos, which included several video clips of her. She and Charlize Theron could have been interchangeable - voice intonation, body language, everything. Absolutely incredible.

Any beautiful, sexy woman who has a century-long sex scene with Billy Bob Thornton has not only earned an Academy award, but possibly a Congressional medal of valor.

Then again, some people will do anything for celebrity and fortune.
