An A or B ending for a character

Hello, fellow smut readers and writers!

My ongoing story is "To Hell and Back Again". It will be published as a full-length fantasy/steampunk novel once completed. For now, I am posting it on a chapter-by-chapter basis for the fine folks at Literotica at https://www.literotica.com/s/to-hell-and-back-again-ch-01.

However, I have a problem.

One of my characters is going to meet an untimely and tragic end. I have written two different death scenes and I like them both equally. I cannot decide which is the better scene! I was wondering if some of you might care to help me decide which one is to go with?

I know this is a strange request on a site that is all about doing the nasty. Every chapter of my story does include a sex scene. It just also happens to include a grand battle between good and evil, plot twists, epic conflicts and... yes... the occasional tragedy on the road to the Heroe's Journey.

If anyone would be interested in helping me pick the best end for this character, I would sure appreciate the feedback! I don't want to post any spoilers here so just let me know if you want to pitch in.

P.S. I should clarify that the tragic end has nothig to do with sex. It is purely plot related!

I wish! Still, I do hope to manage some of the same shock and disbelief Whedon pulled off with *that* scene in Serenty. Here's hoping!

Um, Whedon doesn't "pull off" anything as he is rather noted for killing off whatever beloved character in a New York second.
He killed Buffy two or three times, (true, he brought her back, but he likes to play with people's emotions like toys)
He killed off Angel several times
He killed off Cordellia
He killed off Doyle
He killed off Wesley
He killed off "Fred"
Gunn was teetering by the series end (probably died)
He killed off Anya
He killed off Tara
He killed off Spike
He killed off Drusilla and Darla, although they weren't "good guys" nor "main cast" so...

The point is, if you're a "good guy" in the main cast of a Whedon production, there's a 75% chance you're gonna be killed off the series.

He killed off Sheppard Book
He killed off Wash

I don't want to go into agents of shield he killed off. The only thing he is also known for is taking a consummately good character and FLIPping the character from good to bad, or vice-versa. Flip, flip, flip, flip!
I mean how many times did Angel become Angelus? Wesley went dark side, although his intentions were pure... Darla, bad to to dead to bad to good. Harmony good-ish to bad. Lindsey went from bad to good, to bad, to good to dead. Spike went from bad to good to dead to good. Faith went from good to bad, to good, to... (was there a last count on how many times she flipped?), Willow went from good to bad, to good-ish...

So, when you say, you want to kill off a main character...
