hey guys.. I'm going to Amsterdam in March for a few days and I want them to be special.. I heard so much about the gay scene there and also heard that the dutch grow them big.. sigh

appreciate if you can share your Amsterdam experience / recommendations

Hm. Okay. Well, when I went to Amsterdam, I was too young to really be involved in the scene (eleven), but I can tell you that the regular sights are just gorgeous. Don't miss the Anne Frank House and the statue of Anne Frank. It may sound kitschy, but I assure you it isn't.

If you're any kind of gardener, check out some of the bulbs and seeds you can buy in Amsterdam. You'll get some exquisite flowers.

Take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. Go see Westerkerk.

And definitely check out the Red Light District, if only for, ahem, historic reasons.
