Do you understand why nobody thought that it was possible to fly an airplane into a building and use it as a guided missile?
Because we are complacent in this country. Because we have an attitude that security isn't worth our time. Because we are too squeamish to allow guards with machine guns in our terminals. Because everybody forgot that people actually hi-jack planes.
When you pull your panties out of your tight little bunghole you'll realize that I am a thousand times more pissed at the terrorists than I am at the security people at the airport. But there was still no excuse for it. If our security and our intelligence had been up to snuff this NEVER would have happened. 10,000+ people are dead, in part due to our lack of vigilance. Security experts have been warning of this for years, but the Congress and the FAA have been ignoring them. As I said before, Isreal is the juiciest terrorist target in the world, and they haven't had a jacking in 20 years. They also have the toughest security in the world.
And WTF is wrong with an eye-for-an-eye? Are we just supposed to ignore this? You're the one that needs to get real, pollyanna.

All this bullshit about tightened security is just that – bullshit. Next time it won’t be planes, ok? It was planes because that was the simplest route. You can’t cover every route. It’s virtually astonishing that with all the hatred for big bad America that’s out there – that we don’t get this shit more often. That’s a credit to your country! If there’s something we can improve in our intelligence gathering, fine – do it. Pay for it. But further restraints on our freedom of movement, and our FEELING of freedom when we roam – is a knee jerk bunch of crap. I wont have it. I won't let those fuckers see me squirm. THAT'S what they want. You're playing right into their hands.
Rather than seek to blame my own nation, I’d rather reserve my thoughts for the patriotism and heroics shown by those fine Americans over Pennsylvania (Lavender - apparently those boys weren't intimidated by knives and box cutters. Wahoo!). THAT’S how you thwart the scourge. Let’s do more of that, eh. Take responsibility when you’re in a position to do so. We’re about to take the next step and REMOVE the threat (and I don’t mean one individual). Every terrorist known to man is going to be removed. And you’ll sleep soundly again…

I am the strongest defener of this country, and AS I'VE SAID numerous times, I do place the blame on the perpetrators.
But it seems that some people would like to excuse the crappy job we've done with airport security and just let terrorists continue to kill our people so we can further kill people when we are forced to go to war.
Excellent plan.
What I'm saying is we could have done a much better job at preventing this, and we have to in the future.
Do you think this is the last time they are going to try an attack like this? They've succeed magnificently. They are already planning the next attack.
