The point is, they haven't been to trial, they haven't been convicted, haven't been given bail, and are being held in solitary confinement covid being the excuse. The fear is the government for the last several months has harshly punished these people as if they were guilty, in order to get them make a deal with prosecutors instead of having to go to trial, an unconstitutional denial of rights. If they were BLM or Antifa and had just injured hundreds of cops and fire fighters, burned down blocks of city buildings, and looted millions worth of private property, they'd be walking free right now.
